With Sohan as our guide, we had a phenomenal day exploring several locations, experiencing deep history of the region, and activities that were enjoyed from age 15 to 82. We loved being able to create our own adventure, blending our research of what we wanted to do with Sohan's experience and knowledge.
Most magical experience ,thrpugh the country side and amidstthe mountains.our guide suham lal, was thw best guide and took great care of us.he deserves 5 star..
Our driver talwar is great. He knows everything about our tour. If we go to switzerland again, sure we will contact him.
Our driver Gurvinder was excellent!! He made the trip extra special. The sights of Interlaken are breathtaking! We really enjoyed this excursion, more than all the others we took. Highly recommended! And Gurvinder should be recognized for his perfect driving, his extra nice personality, and his explanations of all the places we went! We loved him!!!
Hussein was an amazing driver and host! He showed us the most beautiful parts of the Jungfrau region and was very knowledgeable of the area. He was a very kind, courteous host who provided most of the planning and scheduling himself and we were just there for the ride, walking around with our jaws dropped. If Hussein is your driver, you’re in for a great trip!
Navdeep and his brother Nitesh Bali took really good care of me and my family. They gave us great recommendations & expectations but ultimately let us decide what to do. Navdeep made sure via text messages that we were ok. He maximized the tour by visiting the best sites as much as possible. We arrived a bit late but did not even bother to charge us extra. I truly recommend this tour. Larrazabal family from Cebu 🇵🇭
Hussain was our driver and did a great job. Our grandkids really liked the caves. We all thought the waterfalls were magnificent. Be prepared to walk and climb hills. The castle in Thun was a bit disappointing.
Hussain was assigned to us by the company and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. He took us to all the spots in Oberlamd region that we wanted to visit and other not to well known areas know more to the locals. He took us to great insta spots and little hikes made the whole trip so much more fun. The place he took us to for lunch in Interlaken was also fantastic. Overall, Hussain made everything including the high price tag of the trip, completely worth while.
I’d like to start by saying that our driver was super kind and nice. 100%. Having said that, this tour was an extreme disappointment. The outline of this tour was clear. It listed each village/town we were going to see. Although our driver was not a tour guide, he was supposed to be an English speaking knowledgeable driver - enough to be able to communicate and also provide suggestions along the way. He did not speak English and it was extremely difficult to communicate. But that was the least of the issues. Upon arriving at our first stop (Grindelwald) - he told us that “we are here”. Here literally meant that we arrived in the city. We had no direction and absolutely no idea where to go. Not even a street to explore. When we asked our driver - he simply pointed and said “go”. We spent 3 hours wandering aimlessly - completely lost. When I asked for some information at the train station about some of the things we were hoping to see in Grindelwald, they told us to head to the terminal and take the gondola to either Jungfrau, Grindelwald First or one other location. So we did. When we got there and spoke to the ticket counter, they informed us that due to the weather Jungfrau and the other may not be our best bet and to go to Grindelwald First. We were told that we had to head to another location to catch that cable car. We told our driver and he told us - you can only catch all the gondolas/cable cars here at the terminal - in broken English. So we went back up to the counter just to be told that our driver did not know what he was talking about, she took my phone and put the address into my google maps. We finally got to our destination just to be told that the weather is poor and for the $300 for four tickets - we decided NOT to take the cable car. Mind you - 3 hours wasted. We got back into our van and the driver asked - where would you like to go now. It was then that weI realized this tour was a bust and we had to plan out every site destination. Not how I understood this tour at all. Other issues included standing around waiting to be picked up because for some ungodly reason, he came in a van that was meant for 15 people for the four of us and couldn’t head down certain streets. Each village and town went the same way. We arrived, told to “go that way”. No clue where or what to do. We did do our best to search up “must sees” in each town and thankfully found a few. Mind you, I had to tell our driver and send him the address so he knew how to get there. We saw the beautiful waterfalls - somewhat salvaged the tour along with Beatus Caves. The icing on the cake was Oberrhoffen (sp?). We found a castle that we thought would be cool to see. The driver said ok. When we arrived, once again he stopped in the middle of a road, told us he can’t go any further and I kid you not, said “Google maps says we are here”. It was the middle of a road. We did our best to find this castle on our own when the heavens opened up and it started pouring. I mean it came down in sheets. We managed to find a little tunnel to get out from this monsoon to find out that this tunnel was the entry to the castle. Yay…right? No. The damn castle is closed on Sundays and Mondays! As a professional driver on a detailed 10 hour private tour - you would think he would know this. He did not. We waited for the rain to stop. It never did. When I called to have him pick us up - he said no. His van won’t fit. So he sent us his location and we had to walk to him…in the rain. We headed back to our hotel from there completely dejected, frustrated and thoroughly annoyed. Again, nice guy and all but this tour - for the amount we spent on a PRIVATE tour was a complete bust. Other than the waterfalls and the caves - we did not see what we had hoped to see.
