A tradição do teatro de marionetes de água vem de uma época em que os arrozais eram inundados e os aldeões se divertiam em pé na água até a cintura com os fantoches se apresentando sobre a água. Usando grandes hastes para apoiar os bonecos, parecia que eles estavam se movendo pela água com os marionetistas escondidos atrás de uma tela. Esta tradição é exclusiva do Vietnã do Norte, mas recentemente ganhou fama nos palcos de todo o mundo; então é um deleite raro ver os bonecos se apresentarem em seu local original no Dragon Water Puppet Theatre. The show was great. Tickets only purchased by rep at 6:10 putting us near back. Buy yourself on the day.

To ensure every guest has a confirmed spot, we must process bookings and secure tickets within the theater's allocated slots for travel agents. While purchasing tickets directly at the counter on the day might sometimes offer different seating options, it comes with a high risk of being turned away if the show is full. Our service aims to provide peace of mind and a hassle-free experience for travelers with tight schedules. Sadly, english is my only language so I had to figure out what the story was. It was fun to watch and looking up how it was done was cool!

Great communication from the trip operator and the lady who dropped off the tickets for us . Unfortunately we were in the second row from the back of the theatre (of at least 20 rows) which made viewing difficult . I would check where the seats are before booking as we were disappointed. Having said that the production was excellent .

This is a great show especially if you're a history buff . Very traditional and great place for a Date or even with a family. The neighborhood is lively
