We went on a whim on our last day in Las Vegas to avoid the heat. What a gem of a museum! Plenty of great exhibits with great information. A lot of interactive activities for kids and adults. Right down the street from the Neon Museum. All of the staff were super helpful and informative.
This is not far from the Neon museum downtown and admission is very cheap considering its in Las Vegas. (we are from the UK) Staff are very helpful on arrival and you can download the map which helps because we missed a few rooms at the beginning. We could have spent all day in here as there is so much to see and do, its very interactive (my son especially loved designing things that ended up on the TV screens) and full of good information however, there is no where to get a drink! no café and although there is a little shop, they don't sell drinks either. due to this we didn't do the basement floor as we were all thirsty so headed to Fremont. if you sold drinks on site then we would have stayed much longer. I would still recommend this place as its great for families and anyone visiting can get away from the chaos of the strip here.
Open delivering the mail to the Las Vegas national history Museum for the last year I have never had a single issue but today, December 12, 2025 I went in like I always do and asked to use the restroom when some teenager tells me that I can’t use the restroom without admission last time I checked, you guys are a state provided service. You’re supposed to be open to the public and not refuse customers ever so great job to the 14-year-old employee that is at the desk who has no idea where he’s at or what he’s even doing there.
To get into the museum, you have to get through the homeless that hang out at the door, like literally at the door! I didn’t feel safe leaving my car in that parking lot and I wasn’t going to subject my grand daughters to the filthy homeless at the entrance.
We spent about an hour and a half. Kids and adults enjoyed this museum. Much better than expected, well organized, Friendly people. Nice gift shop.
great place to visit I went with the kids without much expectation. It was great. Enjoy from small animals and plants to ancient relics. Exhibited. highly recommend to visit !
It was good, but it is only for people with little children, not for adults with no children, so I would not go again.
It was very easy to book my tickets through viator although when we got to the museum the receptionist said that they did not see our ticket information in the system also we were told that we could have gotten a cheaper price if we had booked directly with the company for the museum, probably a $20 difference or so... The booking process was fairly easy I just wonder why the receptionist did not see our information in the system because I had a confirmation number and everything but we were able to go to the museum and we did have a wonderful time.
We actually didn't make this event but I'm sure it was just as good as all the things I booked for our trip
Really nice small museum just past downtown Las Vegas. Even though the place is a little on the small side, they had a very impressive Egyptian display. My wife and I really liked the shark tank with live sharks swimming around. Really cool place. Thank you!
