MJ, the musical, on Broadway was spectacular! The actors, music and dancing were wonderful. The Neil Simon theater is beautiful: not a bad seat in the house. DZ
A very beautiful musical dedicated to Michael Jackson, both spectacular and moving. The staging is meticulous, the sets are magnificent, and the overall show is truly impressive. The staff at the reception is very pleasant and warm, and the ushers are particularly kind and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. However, there was a small downside: the air conditioning was a bit too strong in the mezzanine, and we felt quite cold during the performance. Despite this, we had an excellent time and highly recommend this show.
Great show , as a long term fan i loved it and so did my 15 year old son. Great vibes and songs. Would defo recommend.
Just left Neil Simon Theatre on Broadway. I expected a good show, but this cast hit it out of the ballpark!! Fantastic cast, stellar Michaels, exceptional voices & dancing, outstanding sets and choreography!
This “jukebox musical” felt like a cult experience to those of us for whom Michael Jackson’s music and life story were not the soundtrack of our lives. It’s a high-volume, very high-energy bio-play which skims part of Michael Jackson’s story, carefully skirting the most devastating aspects of his self-destructive, addictive behavior. There are a few hints, and a much fuller exploration of Jackson’s obsession with spectacle, despite his constant refrain of concern for “feeling” his music and for “perfection” of his shows. The true highlight of this extravaganza is its spectacular dance troupe, which performs energetically, relentlessly, skillfully and even beautifully as the backdrop to Jackson’s traveling road show. Jackson’s demanding father, his staff’s attempts to rein in his excesses, and his financial troubles are thoroughly revealed. The many production numbers in this show (including his mega hits “Billy Jean” and “Thriller,” of course) are replete with over-the-top special effects, lighting and stage sets, driven forward by a pounding musical track so intense at times that the enormous bass loudspeakers installed for this show literally shake the theater’s seats. Those who purchased Jackson’s signature glitter gloves and hats for the occasion seemed enthralled in the theater.

The Michael Jackson Musical in Hamburg was just incredible! It was pure magic – you really felt like Michael Jackson was alive again. The actors and singers brought his manner, energy and music across so authentically that you were completely swept away. The songs were of course an absolute highlight. The whole hall participated, partied and sang along. Enthusiasm, cheers and even tears of joy everywhere – some songs were screamed with joy. The mood was simply indescribable. For any Michael Jackson fan, this musical is an absolute must. A unique experience that you will never forget!
Theater doesn’t have a bad seat. Great viewing and audio experience. The Michael Jackson impersonator spoke, sang, and danced so similar to the king of pop it was uncanny.
