A ilha Ošljak é a menor ilha permanentemente habitada do Adriático com 29 habitantes e uma área de 0,39 km2. Fica a apenas meia milha náutica de Preko. Ošljak é um exemplo de arquitectura tradicional mediterrânica, com um antigo porto de pesca e a Igreja de Santa Maria do século VI. A trilha de caminhada na ilha tem dois quilômetros de extensão, passando por um farol e restos de moinhos de vento – moinhos do século XVI. Em 1985, Ošljak foi declarado parque florestal.
Ugljan é uma das ilhas mais pitorescas do arquipélago de Zadar, localizada em frente a Zadar, da qual está separada por apenas algumas milhas náuticas de largura do canal de Zadar. Esta ilha sempre verde, coberta de olivais, baías idílicas e pitorescos pequenos portos de pesca, há gerações está ligada ao mar, à navegação e à pesca, e mais de 2000 anos de cultivo de oliveiras deixaram milhares de oliveiras produzindo um óleo de qualidade e aroma excepcionais. Ao longo do lado leste da ilha, existem assentamentos de pescadores e turistas em baías naturais, sendo as mais famosas Preko, Ugljan, Kali e Kukljica.

We had an amazing time with Luka! We swam in two spots - one was a very sandy beach with almost no one else around. He dropped us at Osljak Island and we walked the whole perimeter in about 30 minutes. Then we swam briefly there and had lunch at Srdela Snack in Kali, which is Luka’s favorite. He ordered us lots of fish to try! It was a great day!
