Regarding Maya Bay, its closure for conservation reasons is determined by the National Park authorities, which is regrettably beyond our control. Every day, before any boat departs, we conduct a thorough check of the weather forecast and sea tide conditions. Most importantly, we operate under the strict supervision of the official Marine Department. If there are any safety concerns, the Marine Department will not permit any tour boats to leave the harbor. On the morning of your tour, the conditions were perfectly safe and pleasant—the sky was clear and sunny, and the sea was calm. There were no warnings or signs of the storm that developed later. Unfortunately, the weather in Thailand can be very unpredictable and can change suddenly without warning. This was the case on your tour date, and all boat companies in the area faced the same sudden change in conditions. We deeply regret that this unforeseen weather event impacted your experience.
