There’s a lot of walking, but the history is great. Sarakiniko Beach is incredible to see. Our driver was very friendly and knew so much about Milos.
Kostas was an amazing guide. He was accommodating of everyone, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about showing us all Milos has to offer. He was easy to talk to and it felt like we were good friends by the end of the tour. He went above and beyond by arranging transportation for me to have a special birthday dinner in Plaka that evening, and suggested both a restaurant and foods to try.
Great tour! Marios took us to some very interesting places. He is very knowledgeable, very friendly, very engaging. One of our best tours of Greece.
The tour is very interesting. The guide, well prepared and attentive, provided detailed explanations. The scenes are beautiful.
Had a wonderful tour with Mario showing us his beautiful island. Lots of walking but well worth it! Would highly recommend this tour.
West of the Cyclades, apart from the tourist hordes that invade its neighbors, this is Milos. Apart from the geological curiosity of the beach and the cliffs of Sarakiniko, not much to see on this peeled island, fried by the sun and battered by the winds. Ah, yes, of course, this is where French archaeologists found and reunited the two pieces of the famous Venus that sits in the Louvre... Other than that? Well nothing, except the unique charm of small villages like Adamandas or Plaka where white and blue reign, where sipping an ouzo or a Greek coffee under a dais of red bougainvillea contemplating the Mediterranean is an innefable pleasure. Time suddenly stops... To visit in autumn to avoid a merciless sun. The sea is still warm and its waters are still crystal clear. Regular sea and air connections.
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughtful impressions of Milos. We’re glad you enjoyed the island’s peaceful charm, its villages, and the beauty of its coastline—especially in the quieter autumn season. Your detailed reflections will certainly be helpful to future visitors. We hope the rest of your travels were just as relaxing and memorable!
We had a most memorable tour thanks to Marios. He was extremely knowledgeable about the places we visited and a lover of history which my husband loved. The time spent at each stop was perfect and he ensured we got to see as much as possible on this tour. It was just two of us so in actual fact a private tour. Thanks again Marios, you are one of a kind

For 15 years I spend at least 3 weeks in Greece every summer. I have seen many islands and each has left me with something beautiful and special. Even unforgettable. Milos was a total disappointment. I had high expectations given the many positive reviews on the island and the spectacular photos. The island is very large and inhabited in a very small part. Most of the houses and structures are dilapidated. Everything about Greece is missing: Flowers, Scents, Welcoming. The sea is beautiful and clear no more and no less than you would find on other islands. There are some quaint spots like Sarakiniko, but they are not worth a holiday. The food is good quality almost everywhere. Prices are exaggeratedly high, at Santorini level so to speak, without any justification. Here there is nothing that recalls the Cyclades... forget the white and blue houses with bougainvillea: here it is almost all ruined and sloppy. The centre of Plaka offers a small crossroads of characteristic and beautiful streets. Pollonia the prettiest village with the best maintained and maintained facilities, but you will find only a few restaurants and a couple of shops there. Terrible Adamantas apart from a small area of the harbor and waterfront with some local/restaurant. The island is subject to a very strong Meltemi that often prevents you from staying on the beach. There is much more to visit in Greece before Milos, Believe me!
