Linh our guide was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and funny! He also took great care to stop in the shade while he educated us at each stop through the imperial city. During our stay in Hue, we took a guided tour of the Imperial City and had the best guide one could wish for, Linh! He provided us with many exciting facts about the history of Vietnam and showed us the most important points on the vast grounds. He always included the entire group and entertained us with a lot of humor for two wonderful hours. Afterward, one could explore the Imperial City on their own; as mentioned, the area is huge. We had a great afternoon and a very good and educational time.

This was our second visit to the Imperial Citadel and having a guide makes a huge difference. We were in a small group of 6 for this tip-based tour and our guide Linh was outstanding - one of the best guides we’ve had in Vietnam. We had an excellent couple of hours with Linh as he walked us through the key sites of this enormous complex, delivering a succinct, witty and informative history of Vietnam’s Royal dynasties and the Imperial City. A nice combination of background, history and free time to explore different parts of the large complex. Highly recommended.
