Genuinley so fun. We had a lovely walk through the market where Anh pointed out the different fruits, vegetables, and fish! He let us smell the lemongrass and mint and had great chats with us. We cooked 3 dishes and he helped us expertly with better teqniques, clearing up after us while we ate the INCREDIBLE food. The whole experience was incredible and I would highly reccomend this to anybody who comes to Hue!

Excellent cooking class experience with Anh! He picked us up from our hotel, by car. We joined a huge market, where we bought the necessary products. Then cook everything we had bought! Flavors to fall on the ground, succulent sauces .. we ate too much of course! 😊 but it was good!! Go there with your eyes closed, you will have an authentic time, with Anh who is really charming!

We spent half a day with Ahn starting with being picked up at our hotel and then on to the market tour and buying the ingredients for our cooking session. The market was a blast seeing so much colourful produce and many unfamiliar food items for sale. We then went to cook in the family home, we learned about the food, Vietnamese culture and day-to-day life of the people. We had some meaningful conversations and left with full stomachs and full hearts. Don’t think twice about booking this experience!

Delicious cooked at Ahn. First to the local market. You can buy anything there. Ahn bought fruit and vegetables there. Then to his house to cook. Good explanation and delicious dishes made like mango salad, chicken, beef rolls and sauce for salad and chicken. Then fruit. It was totally awesome.

We loved this class, it was personal, authentic and delicious. If you're looking for a purpose built premises with A/C, matching plates/bowls and having all your ingredients prep-prepared for you then this class probably isn't for you. We loved the authenticity, the chat, the recipes and the hands on-ness of the class. 100% recommended. Anh is great, his English id good and clearly knows his stuff in the kitchen.

We had an amazing cooking class starting with a shopping trip to Dong Ba market to buy fresh produce. Anh has an excellent understanding of Vietnamese food. He is an experienced chef and explains everything nicely. My family and I throughly enjoyed the cooking class and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for activities in Central Vietnam or Hue.

The class was amazing! We got a true insight into local shopping at the market, and afterwards we made and tasted a snippet of local Hue cuisine! We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the class, with our guide and head chef being an amazingly patient and friendly person to be with. We would highly recommend this class for anyone looking for a taste of local life and food!
