My family had a great time with Bada. He was very information and accommodating. I’ll recommend anyone who wants to visit Gyeongju to take this tour especially if you have a big group. Another big shout out to Bada
I would 100% recommend this tour for those who want to see the major sites of Gyeongju and learn about its history. Our tour guide, Cynthia, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and extremely attentive. She catered to all of our needs and just made our experience in Gyeongju unforgettable.
Good explanation of the site’s visited with a very friendly guide. I have picked the lowest circle for value as I don’t know what I paid for this , I paid a standard fee for my accommodation and guides in one lump sum.
Our guide, Jina, is very informative and in-depth knowledge about Korean history. We visited Bulguksa temple, Darreungwon Tomb complex, Gyeongju national museum.. Jina took us to a stew beef rib restaurant for lunch, which was simple, authentic, and delicious. It’s a great trip.
We had 1 day to visit all the attractions. We stayed one night; when we arrived, we went straight to the museum, we spent 5 hours in the museum, then to the hotel, and at night we went to visit the main attractions. The guides; first, BK contacted me about the pickup point, we asked to adjust the tour according to our needs, and he offered us different options. Later, Joy picked us up; she speaks perfect English. We tailored the tour to our needs, removing the places we had already visited on our own, such as the museum, the Abapji complex, which is truly worth visiting at night, the Gyochon village, and the Woljeonggyo bridge, which is also very beautiful at night. The next day, Joy picked us up at the hotel to take us to the Daereungwon Tomb complex, the observatory, Bulguksa, and Seokguram Grotto. The timing was precise, and she kindly took us to the train station to return to Seoul. Very good availability, extensive knowledge of history, and excellent English. Totally recommended!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Gyeongju lead by Joy. She was knowledgeable, flexible and fun. Her explanations of history, culture as well as her command of English were excellent and she accommodated our needs of coffee and lunch (milmyeon for a hot day). We had so much fun with her.
Mimi was an amazing guide! She provided us with lots of information, a personalized tour, and we had a really excellent lunch at her recommendation. She takes great photos for us too. She also recommended a nice place for dinner for us. It's clear how much she loves her country. Highly recommend this tour and Mimi specifically!! The Gyeongju tour was filled with amazing history and we learned a lot!
If you're visiting Busan or Gyeongju and have the opportunity to tour with BK, don't hesitate. He will completely transform your experience! Last year, BK guided our family through Busan, and we enjoyed our time with him so much that when we returned to South Korea this year, he was the first person we contacted to take us around Gyeongju. It was one of the best decisions we made. BK's knowledge of Korean history, culture, and local life is truly remarkable. Gyeongju is filled with incredible historical sites, but without his insight, storytelling, and passion for sharing his country, we never would have experienced them in the same way. He brought each location to life, helping us understand not just what we were seeing, but why it mattered. His ability to weave history and culture together made every stop meaningful and memorable. What makes BK exceptional, however, goes far beyond his knowledge. He is kind, adaptable, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure his guests have the best possible experience. He effortlessly adjusted to our family's interests and pace, making every day feel relaxed, comfortable, and enjoyable. One of our favorite parts of touring with BK was simply spending time with him and eating together. We had wonderful conversations about Korean history and culture, but also about everyday life, family, and countless other topics. By the end of our time together, BK no longer felt like a tour guide, he felt like a brother. The best way to describe him is as your local relative who knows all the history, all the hidden gems, and all the stories that bring a place to life. The memories we made in Gyeongju are some of the highlights of our trip, and they would not have been the same without BK. His warmth, expertise, and friendship made our experience truly special. We are incredibly grateful for the time we spent together and cannot recommend him highly enough. If we are fortunate enough to return to South Korea again, BK will be our first call.
Mimi was a great guide, very knowledgeable and funny. She really knows her stuff. The pick up was right on time and she showed us all the good spots for pictures. All in all, great vale for the money.
Where do we even begin. This tour was the true definition of attentiveness and attention to every detail. From our hotel pickup, Mimi was right on time, and throughout the entire tour she was incredibly sweet and answered every single one of our questions. Gyeongju is truly remarkable, and I highly suggest for people to book this specific tour.
