Angkor é um dos locais arqueológicos mais importantes do Sudeste Asiático. Estendendo-se por cerca de 400 km2, incluindo área florestal, o Parque Arqueológico de Angkor contém os magníficos restos das diferentes capitais do Império Khmer, do século IX ao XV. Eles incluem o famoso Templo de Angkor Wat e, em Angkor Thom, o Templo Bayon com suas inúmeras decorações escultóricas. O Bayon foi o templo do rei Jayavarman VII, construído no final do século XII. É um templo montanhoso construído para representar o Monte Meru, o centro do universo na cosmologia hindu e budista. O templo também é popular por dois impressionantes conjuntos de bas-reliefs, que apresentam uma combinação incomum de cenas mitológicas, históricas e mundanas. Baphuon é uma bela "montanha-templos" do século 11 com escadas íngremes que levam os visitantes a um terraço que oferece uma das melhores vistas do Angkor Archaeological Park. Arqueólogos acreditam que este templo em estilo pirâmide, localizado na cidade de Angkor Thom, foi provavelmente um dos mais impressionantes dos templos de Angkor em seu tempo. Seu nome significa "Citadela de Chambers", que é apt; as ruínas são um labirinto fascinante de câmaras que são um prazer para explorar. Também servindo como um templo budista, essas ruínas têm sido o lar de um mosteiro ativo em vários períodos de tempo desde sua construção no século 12, até os anos 60. Our tour of Ankor Wat and surrounding temples with Tiger was great! He was super flexible with our itinerary and kept us supplied with cold bottled water all day. He took us from temple to temple and let us explore by ourselves, as well as taking us to a great place for lunch. 100% recommend!

I would really recommend Tiger, he was a brilliant tour guide, gave us great information about the sites we visited, answered all of our questions, let us go wherever we wanted to and was one of the friendliest people I have met while I have been travelling! I honestly could not recommend more, helped us fit a lot into one day with complete enthusiasm.
We had the best experience of our visit to Siem reap with tiger, we got to explore the temples at our own pace and did not feel rushed, would highly recommend over going with a tour company was really great value for money.
We did two tours with Tiger and they were both great tours. His driving was impeccable , a nice lexus car , very clean , good air conditioning. Tiger spoke excellent english. He had cold water for us, and cold wipes throughout the trips. Tiger did a great job of explaining about all of the sights , culture and history to us. He also had a wonderful sense of humor. I would definitely recommend him for any tour.

Let’s list the ways: - Communication: he is very responsive to WhatsApp messages and shared a wealth of knowledge about Angkor Wat, the temples and Cambodia today. - Charm: friendly and gracious, Tiger ensured our experience at Angkor was magical. From giving us wet wipes and chilled waters after each temple stop, to being playful and laughing along at jokes. - Photographer: meticulous, Tiger took a number of photos of us at the sites, from many different angles. He got several money shots. - Good driving: the roads can be chaotic with scooters, Tuk Tuks and other vehicles jockeying for position. Tiger got us to our destinations with speed and efficiency. Tip: you can use him and his comfortable air conditioned SUV for more than just Ankgor Wat. He also drove us to and from the airport for a separate, reasonable fee. Whether you want to hire a guide is up to you. For a comprehensive tour of many of the primary and secondary highlights of the temples in and near Angkor Wat, choose Tiger.
