Not bad, not bad.
Wonderful journey, experienced once watching the sunrise in a hot air balloon. The staff were particularly detailed and the driver was very nice. We chose a package without breakfast. The recommendations are all here once, the praise

An amusing and wonderful experience!
The driver, crew, and pilot were friendly and excellent, with a great sense of humor that made the trip even more enjoyable. Safety was taken very seriously at all times, which made us feel comfortable and well cared for. Overall, it was an unforgettable journey.

A Bucket List Activity
Riding in a hot air balloon has always been on my bucket list of activities I wanted to do. Therefore, it is now checked off as DONE.
The experience was breathtaking. As I watched the sunset over the desert, and experiencing the wonder of the universe, I was in awe. Part of the experience was the balloon staff. They are curtesy, knowledgeable, funny and just a joy to be around, especially if you are not a morning person, like I am. They were scheduled to start at 3:30 am which got changed to 5 am at the checkpoint. I had my driver pick me up 4am to get to the checkpoint at five. I was staying in Sharjah, and they do not pick up from there because it is another state.
Be prepared for cold. I should have brought my winter coat that I took with me from New York, it was that cold. The flight got canceled once because of the torrential rain the night before. Yes, it rains in the desert and to my surprise these winter rains lead to severe flooding. Wear layers of clothing and drink plenty of hot coffee or tea. Due to the weather the camp was unprepared for the buffet breakfast that was part of the experience. I am a foodie, therefore, I expect to get what I paid for if the menu says buffet breakfast. Do not give me cold scrambled eggs, franks, small pieces of cut fruit, bologna, white bread and one small muffin in a container and call it day. I paid for and expected a buffet breakfast and that is what I should have gotten rain or shine.

Exhilarating Baloon ride - Polyfibers School Reunion. Batch of 2000
The best there is and no one should miss it.... A must in your bucket list... This was our 25 year school reunion trip and what a blast we had riding this baloon....Deserts, Gazels, and the the icing on top is the Sun rise o er the mountains!

First balloon experience
It was scary, but I quickly got used to the height and enjoyed the desert! Another fun part of the landing was the box lying down!
Abbas picked me up on time and drove the group out to the training session! The pilot Andrew was so funny and kind. He landed us safely without tipping over ! Abbas met up with us where we landed took photos of us and drove us back to our hotel ! 5 stars
