Fake advertising! This tour is actually a basic version of the tour with Jardin EcoTours company with whom you can book directly for the ACTUAL price ! This shady TripAdvisor tour is much more expensive and does NOT give you anything extra for that price. We were really disappointed to first be contacted by Jardin EcoTours asking us what time and tour we wanted when we had already chose and booked via this TripAdvisor link. Then after a lot of confusion from both ends we show up for the tour and realize that out of the whole group we got ripped off and paid 160pp instead of the normal 120pp which is listed clearly on their website. Then the tour didn’t even include the full description on their website nor what they told us. Before the tour I tried various ways to contact TripAdvisor to ask if we could cancel with a refund or partial refund so that we actually pay the fair correct fee but no response and STILL no response from TripAdvisor (days later). William the guide was amazing and we recommended just booking a tour upon arrival in Jardin and avoiding TripAdvisor all together. And being clear with Jardin Ecotours on what the tour actually is and the right fee.

Our horseback ride with William was truly the highlight of our entire Colombia trip. He’s the sweetest soul, and you can feel how much he cares for his horses. We were a little nervous about the language barrier, but William was so patient and kind—Google Translate was all we needed. We chose the ride up to Café Jardín and it was absolutely magical—peaceful countryside, waterfalls, and views we’ll never forget. We left with full hearts and so much love for William. Don’t think twice—book this tour!
