Very comfortable apartment, complete and very good location. Safe and very comfortable and with the right spaces. Accessible
The tour was great and the 14 coloured mountain was amazing. I would recommend it to everyone. Worth every cent .
Frankly, it’s splendid! To do without hesitation we went by our own means with rental car the road is largely passable just drive at 40 but really easy attention we climb to 4350 m altitude so gently and drink at least 2l of water and do not overeat before!!
The Hornacal a beauty. We hired a 4 x 4 x doubts tour because there were rains in those days. But by car with care you also reach
Amazing landscape, always said that the access was difficult and we did not find. We went with a normal car and we had no problems. They are 30km of ground road and is a little more careful. Worth every second, impressive view. We walked to the end of the viewpoint, it was very worth it and the return is a bit complicated, especially if it is someone sedentary. The place has bathrooms, shops and a small cafeteria, well rustic. It is charged 1000 pesos per person to have access to the mirante.
About 45 minutes from Humahuaca up a fairly treacherous unpaved "road" the view is well worth the effort. You can get a hire up to the top, but it's a tough drive, we opted for the tour from Humahuaca with a guide and 4-wheel drive for Pesos 15k (about $15) and took 2 12 hours. There are a few local food stalls and a small artisan craft market. This is another must destination see in NW Argentina. The start point at Hunahuaca has a large artisan craft market and shows a typical view of rural Argentine life and is worth a stop too.
Shocking landscape!! Super recommended. That's if you take care not to suffer height (coca leaf, hydration and some sweet candy) They charge you $1000 on the way in.
4X4 road trips depart from the Humahuaca Terminal area. $5,000 with one hour of waiting. The time was enough to go down a little walk that allows you to have beautiful views, at a time of year with few people visiting the place. Carry light weight, a bottle of water, sunscreen and a hat. I had no problems with the height, although I did the excursion the same afternoon I arrived in Humahuaca. I used coca leaves.
We had doubts about going with the car or hiring a van. Everyone tells you that the road is easy, that there is no problem but eventually we decided to hire a 4x4 because the car was rented and they said that sometimes stones fly and can cause bumps or break the windshield. The truth is that it was a good option to hire the van (there is a lot in the terminal of humahuaca, it starts 15000 per person), because the road is all of ripio, with sharp curves and some cliffs, although nothing q can not be done with a normal car. Also along the way they explain everything. When we arrived we had 40 minutes to take pictures, and go traking that brings you even closer to the hill of 14 colors. There was no rush (some say q hurry, make sure that before you hire him). We made the descent (it is 300 meters approx but steep) took pictures and climbed back to where the van was waiting. Important advice not to die on the climb as q is super steep: climb zigzag or backwards, this way you get more oxygen. I'm not in super state and I could do it, slow but you can. On the platform where the cars are left there are toilets
A long cornice path that with care can be done with time without rush and enjoy this beautiful attraction, be careful with the vans that circulate and take tourists at full speed without respect for the smaller vehicles...we reach the top and Then we went down the path, it is difficult to go back up but it is not to be missed.....everything to enjoy, we ended up eating tortillas and having mates in the sun.
