Marc was an excellent guide ,very nice and prepared. Showed us a lot of particular places, old photos and gave us a lot of normally unknown infos. We were very happy to have a tour with him. Would recommend to all . If we return would like to make other tours with him
Thank you so much, Anna! I had a wonderful time showing you the hidden Hollywood — the old photos really bring the stories to life. It would be a pleasure to have you back on another tour!
We booked a walking tour through Touch Down LA for our clients, a private experience we had planned well in advance. I had spoken with Mark early on and felt confident he was the right fit. We paid in full through his website. As the date got closer, communication completely fell apart. Emails went unanswered. Phone calls, nothing. Instagram DMs, ignored. We gave the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe he was just busy. Then, the night before the experience — THE NIGHT BEFORE — we received an email saying the experience was cancelled "from our end." That framing is simply not true. We did not cancel. He cancelled. And buried in that email was the implication that we would not be receiving a refund. We then had to scramble to accommodate our clients planned experience last minute, money we cannot recover, and zero response from Mark to this day. This is not just poor service. This is unprofessional, dishonest, and frankly unacceptable from anyone running a business. I would strongly caution anyone to think twice before trusting Touch Down LA with your experience..
I want to address this seriously. I have no record of a booking matching what you describe — not on our website, not through any of our partner platforms. If you have a booking reference, confirmation email, or payment receipt, please send it to mark@touchdown-la.com and I'll investigate directly. If this review was intended for a different operator, please let me know so it can be corrected.
Fantastic walking tour of Hollywood Boulevard. Mark explains the real history behind the theaters and the early movie industry in a way that makes the whole area come alive. I’ve walked the boulevard before but never realized how important these buildings were to film history. Highly recommend.
Thank you so much, Anna. I love hearing this, especially from someone who had already walked Hollywood Boulevard before. That’s exactly the goal of the tour: to reveal the stories hiding in plain sight behind the theaters and façades. Really appreciate the recommendation, and I’d be happy to host you again in another part of LA.
It was rainy but Mark from Belgium (the French side) made it a fun tour. He even had the Hollywood magically appear from the clouds!
Thank you, Paula. Rainy Hollywood always adds a bit of cinema to the experience. I’m glad the mood, stories, and a little timing with the clouds still made it fun. I appreciate you joining the walk and sharing the moment.

Thank you, Antonia! I’m delighted you enjoyed exploring Hollywood’s hidden corners and film history — it’s always rewarding to share those little-known stories with true movie lovers.
Our guide was super informative and really down to earth. He got us and delivered his information in a way that made us smile. A great little overview of Hollywood.
Thank you, Loee! I’m happy you enjoyed the Hollywood walk and the way the stories came across. It’s always fun to share this part of LA’s history and see it connect with people.
Very good experience. Friendly, friendly and very experienced guide. We learned a lot and saw sights we would not have visited on our own. very nice visit. Many thanks to our guide.
Really enjoyed this walking tour of LA! Second tour I take with Eloi while visiting friends in LA. He is so knowledgeable about his city and showed us parts of Hollywood I wouldn't have discovered on my own. Sprinkled with movie anecdotes enriched with details from his previous life in th film industry. The pace was perfect - not rushed but we still covered a lot of ground. Appreciated the local insights and restaurant recommendations. Great way to get oriented in the city, especially if you're visiting for the first time. Would recommend.
Thank you Amauryus! Say hello to Raoul Reyers for me!
This was such a great tour. Mark was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and he showed us a fascinating side of Hollywood - the glamour, of course, but also the history and some great stories. It was wonderful to feel like we were getting a unique look at the neighborhood and how it intersects with the entertainment industry as a whole. The guide has a really fun sense of humor and his experiences with Hollywood parties and even the Walk of Fame gave it a personal touch and made us feel like we were getting something we couldn't have read in a guidebook. Thanks, Mark!!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
I really loved this tour! It's so hard to find walking tour of Hollywood Boulevard a bit more dedicated to film history. Mark is very knowledgeable and we went through incredible place we would have miss without him I totally recommend it!
Thank you Anna for joining the tour!
