Hoi An Lantern Making Class é uma experiência cultural prática onde os viajantes podem criar uma lanterna vietnamita tradicional no coração de Hoi An. Guia por um instrutor local, os hóspedes recebem uma breve introdução à história e significado das lanternas de Hoi An, em seguida, siga as instruções passo a passo para completar uma lanterna de seda dobrável. Esta atividade é ideal para amantes da cultura e viajantes interessados em experiências locais, bem como hóspedes criativos que gostam de artesanato. A aula é segura, interativa e fácil de seguir, tornando-a adequada para famílias com crianças. Para os viajantes com tempo limitado, este workshop oferece uma experiência cultural significativa em uma curta duração, com o benefício adicional de levar para casa uma lanterna feita à mão como um souvenir único. It was great fun. The teacher was very helpful with very good english. Heaps of colours and patterns to choose from, and different shaped lanterns. I would recommend it as a great experience. Although you could do it in an hour not the two it advertised. But there was only two of us, .aybe a large group would take longer. A fun activity for all ages. Easy to find by the market.

This was such a lovely workshop. You were able to select a small 20cm lantern in a variety of shapes, chose your own fabric and select your own tassel. The ladies helped to stretch the fabric to the correct tightness and showed us how to open and fold it. They were very kind and had a great range of fabric to chose from.

Making the lantern was such a lovely experience! With the help of the incredibly kind lady, it was easier than I expected. She was one of the warmest people I’ve met in Vietnam. She even made sure I’d find my way back to my hotel—so considerate of her! 😊
