Hoi An is a must-see with beautiful streets, shops, open markets and so much more. I learned so much from my amazing tour guide (Kien) and the great food choices he had in store were the best I’ve had since I arrived in Vietnam 3 days ago. Hoi An is the perfect calm and beautiful getaway where Vietnam’s rich history, amazing art and exquisite food left me with memories I’ll never forget. Kien went out of his way to make sure I soaked it all in. I highly recommend this excursion - make sure you ask for him and you’ll be in good hands.
Walked the streets of Hoi An, pick up smooth and we got to see parts of the town that not all tourists get to see. The places taken to eat were outside of the old town but still very traditional. I didn’t enjoy being force feed food by the host and felt the tour should have been a hour shorter. I feel bad mentioning this but figure that things cannot improve if I am not honest.
My wife and I had a great afternoon with our tour guide Mei discovering Hoi An. Mei had very good English and had a great understanding and knowledge of Hoi An and the history of Vietnam. She showed us the highlights of the Old Town and we enjoyed some great traditional Vietnamize food. Also, learnt a few Vietnamize words which came in very handy when bargaining at the markets. We had a half-day tour in Hoi An with Tin Tin which included a streetfood Tour. We were very impressed by Tin Tins huge knowledge of Hoi An and we just can recommend her!
Wow, Thau was an amazing tour guide! She took us everywhere and was very knowledgeable as a local from the area. She gave us history and personal experience information from this area. We learned a lot and saw all the sites that Hanoi is known for, plus some. She is also very personable, easy to talk to, very accommodating, and fun to tour with. We would definitely recommend her and use her again!
Thuy was an excellent tour guide. Told us all the important facts about Hoi An. Honestly she felt like a friend. We saw all the highlights of Hoi An and she helped us with so many recommendations! Highly recommend!!
The trip was educational and fun. Billy, the guide, was good in English, knowledgeable and very friendly. This is great if you have limited time in Hoi An. Very nice experience.
Billy was awesome. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, passionate about his home, personable, and kind. Our friend wasn't feeling well and he took great care of her. He adapted the tour to our interests. We would love to go on many more tours with Billy. We highly recommend him!
My wife and I did a walking tour of Hoi An with Billy. He took us to various UNESCO sites and shared lots of history with us. He also showed us around the market, we tried some local food and he taught us a few Vietnamese words and phrases. He was very informative and friendly!
Hoi An old city is lovely and really easy to get around; the guide was very pleasant and informative, so it was worth taking the tour to get a sense of the city and its history before coming back and spending a bit more time wandering around the parts I wanted to see again
