Liam was a great host, shared lots of really great information with the group and covered topics on various places we were all thinking of visiting
This was a great experience! Our guide, Danny was very knowledgeable and gave our tour group a lot of information about New Zealand. He even made a bonus stop for a couple of younger kids in the van a chance to feed an ostrich. For the rest of us, we stopped for ice cream on the way back to Auckland, definitely go with his recommendation of hokey pokey or boysenberry flavors. The Hobbiton tour was excellent and a lot of fun as was the Waitomo cave tour, although we enjoyed the Hobbiton tour more. The Waitomo cave tour seemed to be a little light on staff members as we were split into 2 different boats and at the end of the tour, for our boat, there was no staff around to let us know how and where to exit. The included lunch was very tasty as there were a variety of options available.

Everything went very well and according to plan. Our guide Lliam was very nice and super helpful. His information and guidance was great. We to our excursions on time. Stops and breaks were well-timed. All in all we enjoyed our trip to Hobbiton and to glow worm caves.
I really enjoyed this tour! I’m not a Lord of the Rings fan, but the Hobbiton movie set was phenomenal. The Waitomo Caves was also wonderful and it was a peaceful boat ride to see the glowworms. Rachel was an amazing guide, and she did a great job taking our group to each place throughout the day. I would recommend this tour!

It was a very enjoyable day, Matt was very knowledgeable and friendly. As we were going to other places in the South Pacific, he gave us suggestions, thoughts on those as well which was really helpful. Our tour guide, Mike, was very friendly and professional. He made sure everyone in the group felt welcome and really made the atmosphere in the bus great. I mainly went for the Hobbiton experience and found it exceeded expectations. The glow worm cave was also really impressive. The day has been such a highlight of my whole holiday I am really glad I went.
