Saiba sobre as origens e os primeiros anos de Hitler em um passeio a pé de 2,5 horas pela histórica Viena. Neste tour, você ouvirá a história da Áustria e da Europa de 1900 até 1955. Junto com sua Guia, você encontrará a resposta às seguintes perguntas: Como um pintor austríaco de cartões postal se tornou o homem mais odiado do mundo? Onde Hitler e Stalin se encontraram? Em 25 de maio de 1869, a inauguração foi celebrada na presença do imperador Franz Joseph e da imperatriz Elisabeth com a estreia de Don Juan de Mozart. Mas depois de 1938 tudo mudou, inclusive a vida cultural em Viena mudou. Após o "Anschluss" da Áustria, Adolf Hitler visitou a Ópera Estatal em 19 de junho e 27 de outubro de 1938. O período do nacional-socialismo viu a partida, perseguição e assassinato de artistas e funcionários. Para várias obras houve uma proibição de execução.
O Memorial contra a Guerra e o Fascismo é obra do escultor austríaco Alfred Hrdlicka. Está desde 1988 na Albertinaplatz de Viena - em homenagem a Helmut Zilk em 2009. O memorial destina-se a servir como um lembrete da era mais sombria da história austríaca. É dedicado a todas as vítimas da guerra e do fascismo.

We absolutely loved this 2.5-hour walking tour through Vienna, focusing on the history of Hitler and World War II. It was incredibly fascinating, thought-provoking, and educational. We learned so much along the way. Dieter is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to tell the story in a clear, engaging, and captivating way. He has an incredible amount of knowledge and is also very pleasant and easy to listen to. All in all, this was a fantastic and very worthwhile tour. We highly recommend it to anyone interested in history and the story of Vienna during this important and difficult period. A big, big recommendation!
This is an excellent walking tour to learn about the history of Vienna and our guide pointed out amazing things we just would have walked by! Our guide Sigi knew so much and explained not only what something was but also its historical significance! Highly recommend this
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of good information! However, this tour is too long to stay engaging. This tour would be better if less time was spent in each location.
It was a great experience through the years in the streets of Vienna. I have walked the streets previously with no context of what I was looking at. This tour really drew a timeline through history and remember those who struggled during the times.
Deter was our tour guide, and we had a great time! It was very informational and entertaining. Be prepared for lots of walking, but you get to see awesome parts of the city.
This was an excellent and informative tour, made even better by our guide, Sissy. Her knowledge of the history was exceptional, and you could tell she was truly passionate about the subject. She encouraged questions throughout the tour and answered each one with confidence and detail. One of my favorite parts of the experience was that Sissy shared historical photographs of the locations as they appeared during that time, along with pictures of the people she discussed. Seeing those images while standing at the actual sites added so much context and really brought the history to life. It was an extremely hot day, but Sissy did a wonderful job of looking out for the group. She kept everyone together, stopped in shaded areas whenever possible, and made sure no one was left behind. My only disappointment was that I expected to visit a few more historical sites related to Hitler. However, Sissy's outstanding storytelling and knowledge more than made up for it. If you're considering this tour, I hope you're fortunate enough to have Sissy as your guide. She is an exceptional guide who made this one of the highlights of our visit.
