A viagem começa no estacionamento do Fort Louis, em Marigot, lado francês de Saint-Martin. Nosso guia irá apresentá-lo a Marigot ao longo dos anos, enquanto aprecia a bela vista.
Depois de uma rápida parada na antiga prisão e depois na famosa igreja Igreja Católica Romana Marigot, sua guia Stephie irá apresentá-lo à rue de la République com suas casas de arquitetura crioula.

We were very disappointed when our tour was canceled the day of the tour. We were told that there was a parade that happens once a year that ended by 5pm. That is when our tour would have begun. If it is such an important parade, they should have canceled long before this date, or not even made this date available to begin with. We would have been able to find a different tour for this day then. But we had no time to do so.

We had informed you in advance about the parade and the impact it would have on the tour. We also proposed an alternative date, but unfortunately it did not work for you as it was after your departure. After discussing the situation with the guides and exploring every possible solution, I ultimately had to confirm the cancellation. I completely understand your disappointment and I am sincerely sorry that this affected your plans. Stephie is a passionate person. We went for a 2h ride without seeing time pass. Fortunately there is this kind of excursion to learn more about the city, because the museum no longer exists. I recommend!
The Marigot tour that Stéphie suggests is a superb walk which allows you to delve into the past and understand the evolution of the center of the island as well as the very important relationship between this district of the island and the others. You will be guided using clear and dated information, anecdotes and archive photos. A tour that I recommend to everyone, both to tourists curious to learn more and to locals.
