It was a delight to experience St. John’s Newfoundland through the eyes of someone who grew up there! We were interested in the history of the Irish community there and her Irish family has been there for generations. She shared stories and showed us the historical highlights from Signal Hill to Cape Spear and beyond. Cathy was incredibly caring about my husband’s mobility challenges and we could not have been a better hands. It was a day to remember!
This walking tour showcased the storied past of this vibrant city. The guide took us through historic sites, as well as the bustling downtown streets. It was a lively and engaging walking tour, thanks to the guide.
This is an area of Canada I have always wanted to visit. The city is attractive with a number of sights to see and some architecture to admire. However, make it a point to get outside the downtown area. The countryside is very beautiful. We didn't get a chance to see the Bay of Fundy, but from what we hear, it is exciting. St John's is the best port of entry to get there. The drive is incredible and it is on the bucket list!

Mustapha was very nice and an accommodating taxi driver that took us to some very scenic areas. However, he knew little about the history of the city or area. This was a bit disappointing as that was our main Teresa
