O próprio Vong Canh agora está coberto de pinheiros e margaridas. Uma vez, havia uma torre de vigia construída no fim da colina, embora apenas algumas partes de sua fundação permaneçam até hoje. Além disso, a estação de tratamento de água Van Nien - que é a mais antiga do Vietnã Central e um edifício de estilo oriental projetado pela arquitetura francesa, a apenas 300 metros de Vong Canh, também é um destino digno de uma visita.
O pagode mais antigo de Hue é o Thien Mu Pagoda, cujo estabelecimento está associado às ações iniciais do primeiro Nguyen Lord em Dang Trong (Vietnã do Sul). Esta lenda conta como, quando Nguyen Hoang foi enviado a Thuan Hoa (atual Vietnã Central) para governar essa área, ele próprio fez uma pesquisa do terreno para escolher um local para se estabelecer. Ao montar seu cavalo rio acima ao longo do rio Huong, ele viu uma pequena colina ao lado do rio, cujo terreno parecia um dragão virando a cabeça para trás. Essa colina foi chamada Ha Khe. A população local contou uma história que toda noite uma senhora de blusa vermelha e calça verde aparecia aqui dizendo que um verdadeiro Senhor viria a este lugar e construiria um pagode para a prosperidade do país. Assim, este lugar ficou conhecido como Thien Mu Son (Montanha da Dama Celestial).

We really enjoyed our afternoon tour with Huy 🏍️ his English is very good and we received a lot of information. All the sites are worth a visit, for us the standout was Ni Xa Dieu Tram, very peaceful place and the chanting of the monks made it very special. Thank you Huy and good luck with your future studies 🙏
I loved this tour. I’ve visited hue before and seen all the major sites so wanted something a little different and this was perfect - more like a friend showing you around the city. Huy was an excellent guide, very friendly and flexible around timing and what we did - even took me to a beautiful riverside cafe when I mentioned how much I love Vietnamese coffee! Great way to spend an afternoon.
Our time in Hue was short, but we were able to see alot of hidden places on the motorbikes that we wouldn't have done on our own. Our tour guides Huy and Gian Don were great and were a wealth of knowledge. We changed our pick up location at the last minute and they were very accommodating.
Two of the most amazing days in Vietnam with this young man. He knows the hidden treasures of Hue… sites, food, coffee and local vibes. I felt so safe on the back of his Moto and he was incredibly cautious. Took me off the beaten path to show me the natural beauty of his country. His pride for his heritage and the natural wonders of Vietnam show through all during his tour. Great historical knowledge and gave me ample time to wander.

Had the pleasure of Huy's company whilst riding pillion around greater Hue this afternoon. A fabulous driver and great conversationalist, Huy has a passion for sharing his city's history and spirit that makes for a very interesting afternoon. (He was also super-kind and delayed the start of my trip as my own bus was caught in traffic on the way to Hue!!) Together we visited several sites and talked about the city's culture, the harmony between architecture and nature, and the various influences that have made Hue the location it is today. We saw remnants of occupation, war, kingdoms and business ventures gone sour. We saw some hope the Vietnamese hold in each other, and for the future. A great way to get out of the centre and learn a little more about the land you're on, and a fantastic way to help bump up a uni student's skills. Thanks again for the great adventure!

My guide was Huy for these trip. He really was so nice and kind. His english and explanation was very good and interesting, he knows a lit of the traditions and history. The highlight for me was the abandoned water park.
We toured with Huy and Ruby. Both were knowledgeable, polite, kind and fun. We passengers on scooters. This was a new experience for my sister and me. Both guides were experienced scooter riders. My sister and me felt safe and confident in their abilities. They not only gave us information about the places we visited but they also spoke and their culture and way of life. They were passionate and proud of their country. This tour was a last-minute decision for us. We booked at 10am on New Year's Day and our tour started at 12 am! It was defintely worth it. The Abandoned Water Park is about to be closed for good. The entrance had been demolished the morning of our tour!!! So glad we did this tour. I would recommend it!

The tour was brilliant! We saw lots of bits of Hue that we would never have seen without local guidance. The tour leader was Huy, communication was excellent in advance, we were picked up at our hotel on 4 motorbikes and looked after well throughout the trip
