Visiting the Peace Park was a very memorable experience. Out tour was well organized, and Gordon provided thoughtful historical context while treating the subject with great respect and sensitivity. Walking through the park, seeing the memorials, and learning about the events of August 6, 1945, was both moving and educational. Gordon struck a good balance between sharing historical facts and honoring the lives affected by the tragedy. There was also time to explore, reflect, and appreciate the park’s message of peace and hope. I highly recommend this tour with Gordon to anyone visiting Hiroshima. It’s an unforgettable experience that offers valuable insight into history while inspiring a deeper appreciation for peace and the importance of preventing such tragedies from happening again.
Tomoko wad very nice pleasent and knowledgeable guide , made our visit very interesting, and facinating. We recomend her a lot. It was very efucated tour.
Our guide, Gordon, made this experience so much more meaningful with his storytelling. He brought us back to 1945 as if we had been residents living through this horrific time. Whether on the bridge, at the dome, museum, the Peace Park, the other historic sites, he totally enriched our experience. Seeing groups of students honoring those gone and advocating for peace was wonderful. History came to life on this tour. The museum, though, is not for the faint of heart. Be prepared….
We took this tour with Emiko and it was the best tour we’ve had during our 2 week stay in Japan. She is very knowledgeable and took us to locations we would not have known had it not been for her. Emiko is a great ambassador to her city and provides all the information needed to get an in depth perspective of the bombing. Thank you Emiko!

The tour was full of information and our tour guide Naoko was amazing. She took the time to explain everything without rushing through and was very receptive to answering our questions.
Masae our guide was great. She shared many of her families stories with us and provided a well paced tour throughout the park and the Memorials.
It was our first trip to Hiroshima and we wanted to learn as much as we could about the city and history. Our tour guide Ami was wonderful and so knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time with her and thankful she took such time and patience. Thank you Ami!!
Gordon M is just fabulous. Met us at our Shinkansen. Took us by street car to our hotel to drop off the baggage. Then gave us a full 3 hr meaningful personal expof Hiroshima and the impact of the atomic bomb.
Naoka was truly remarkable- a second generation survivor of the bomb herself- she provided a wealth of information you can’t get on most tours. On top of which- she was a genuinely kind and hospitable person.
