We loved every second of our tour! Zuzi, our tour guide was extremely friendly and down to earth. Our 5 hour excursion through Lauterbrunnen Valley was amazing. We got to see so much and learned so much about the valley. Too many parts that were our favorite to list but I’ll say that the picnic we had near one of the waterfalls was a cherry on top. Thanks so much again for a wonderful tour!
Great day with George. Beautiful journey through the alps and waterfalls. Well worth it.
Much appreciated – glad it was worth it! The Swiss Alps have a way of delivering every time. 😊 George
One of the best guided tours/hikes we did in Switzerland. First, the company was tracking the weather prior to our trip and kindly suggested some changes that made the experience so much smoother. George, our guy, was very kind and patient. Highest recommendation!
Thank you so much! Keeping an eye on the weather is all part of the job – really glad the adjustments paid off. Happy you had a great day! 😊 George.
George was great. The views and hike was amazing. Postcard pictures. It was a small group and George was very flexible giving options to do. The hike was great and lots of Places to take amazing pictures
Thank you! Glad the day delivered – that area really does feel like a postcard sometimes. Happy you enjoyed it! 📸 George
Best day ever! Our tour guide, George, was professional, knowledgeable, and considerate of our preferences as my husband and I visited Lauterbrunnen and Murren and Trummelbach Waterfalls. He happily stopped for our many photo opportunities ( and there were SO MANY in this beautiful part of Switzerland) and was a wealth of information about Swiss culture, economy, agriculture, adventure sports, and lots of other things we had questions about. I highly recommend contacting this business when you are visiting Switzerland- you won’t regret it!
Hi Karen, thank you so much for the kind words – this genuinely made my day! It was a pleasure to have you and your husband along, and honestly the pleasure was all mine. Lauterbrunnen has a way of surprising people no matter how many times you visit, and sharing that with guests who are curious and enthusiastic makes the job truly enjoyable. Looking forward to hopefully showing you more of Switzerland one day! George
Hubby and I love to hike! Hiking in Switzerland was an absolute dream! Suzie, our amazing guide, picked us up at our hotel (awesome perk!) and we were off to see the beautiful countryside! We chose the most difficult hike and it was 100% worth it! We hiked above the clouds and saw views that were just breathtaking! Suzie was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and super friendly! We had an amazing time!
What a day that was – above the clouds is hard to top! Really glad you both went for it. Thank you! 😊 Zuzi.
Amazing trip and awesome tour guide, Zuzi! She took us hiking along the mountainside and into the trees. Absolutely gorgeous scenery! Enjoyed lunch at a cafe and then went to Trummelbach Falls — waterfalls inside a mountain. The best day with the best tour guide!
So happy you had such a great day – Trümmelbach never gets old! 😊 Zuzi.
Zuzi was an amazing guide! She took our small group on a great hike and took care of all our tickets for any transportation. She let us decide how easy or hard we wanted our hike so it was just right! We saw some beautiful places!
Thank you – days like that are exactly what this is all about! Really happy you had a great time! Zuzi.
This trip was absolutely stunning. Our local guide was accommodating and full of knowledge about the area we were touring as well as the whole country. He was fascinating to listen to as we learned so much during our six plus hour tour. Our guide offered us trekking poles which we gladly used during the first part of the alpine hike. After the initial 45 minutes of the hike it flattened out and became very manageable without the trekking poles. George knew all the spots to show us the cows grazing in the mountain pastures, spotted BASE jumpers for us to watch and even pointed out a helicopter airlifting a cow down for veterinary treatment from the upper mountain to the lower valley. He was quite informative of the process by which the glacial melt cut through the mountain producing the distinctive milky green rivers flowing into the Interlaken lakes. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour and tour company. 5-Stars+ for our group!(swisslocalguide.ch)
Thank you so much, this means a lot! Glad the day delivered on all fronts and that you guys enjoyed it. Hope to see you all again! George.
Away from the crowds, up small trails known only by local guides, past the grazing cows, vast landscapes and waterfalls. Everything I had in my head about Switzerland played out in this hike all with a knowledgeable guide telling us about local customs, lifestyle, and history. If I only had one day in Switzerland, this would be the tour to take.
What a kind thing to say – thank you! Days like that are exactly why I do this. Really happy it lived up to everything you imagined!
