Good tour overall, the guide was very good and got some great photographs! Things were explained well in both English & Spanish.
Avoid by all means, they cancelled evening before by mail leaving us with no options, be aware of such operators
Thank you for your feedback, Amir. We are sorry that the situation caused frustration during your visit to Oaxaca. We would like to clarify that the tour was not cancelled without notice. The evening before the tour, we contacted you to inform you that the minimum number of participants required to operate the 10:30 a.m. departure had not been reached. We intentionally wait until the evening before departure because additional bookings often come in during the afternoon, and we always try our best to operate the tour as scheduled whenever possible. In our message, we offered three alternatives: joining the 8:30 a.m. departure, rescheduling the tour to another available date during your stay, or receiving a full refund. Since none of the alternative options worked for your plans, the corresponding full refund was processed. We understand that this was disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We always strive to provide reliable service and transparent communication. Unfortunately, on this occasion, your booking was one of only two participants registered for that departure, making it impossible to operate the tour under the required conditions. Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.
Very nice excursion, safe transportation with Jose, and the guide, Vladimir, was very attentive, always providing interesting explanations and listening to us, I recommend it!!
Awesome trip to the falls. We specifically chose this one as it is a half day and just focused on what we wanted to see without distractions.
Good driver, good price, and excellent guides. The place is really nice, and the trip was pleasant and safe.
Getting to the meeting point: you can choose to have breakfast at the hotel, undoubtedly an advantage given the time when most places are closed. We were fortunate to take this tour at the beginning of June, and it is undoubtedly a great choice, as it is low season and there are hardly any people. There is a risk of rain, yes, but most of it is at the end of the month; at the beginning, the weather is perfect. We had Francisco as our guide, a guy who undoubtedly knows a lot about the history, gastronomy, and points of interest in the region. He is quite friendly and always has a great attitude; undoubtedly a great tour if you come with very limited time.
Great trip. The steps down to the bottom of the waterfall are tough, and im in pretty good shape. Some are really tall.
The Hierve el Agua location was very sunny the day of my trip. If other people have similar conditions on the day of their trip, then a wide brimmed hat is probably a good idea and also plenty of water for the hike. If you're prone to sunburn, take sunscreen or wear a long sleeve shirt.
Very nice day trip! We were picked up near our hotel and our guide gave us nice information about the history of Oaxaca and the environment on our way to the Hierve el Agua. At the place, we did a nice hike together with our guide and a local guide. They were both passionate and friendly in informing us during the hike. After the hike we had 1,5 hour to have a nice swim. During our way back, our guide also gave some nice tips for the rest of our holiday.
Such an awesome tour , the tour guide did a great job of explaining everything to us on the way . Also a very beautiful place to visit .
