Went on whale watching cruise on Wednesday with Tasman. What a fantastic afternoon we had. Saw so many whales. Breaches, lots of flipper slaps, spyhopping, everything you can imagine. So close. Was just magical. Best experience ever. The staff were all fantastic and made the afternoon great whilst racing around lifting and lowering blinds, serving everyone. So tentative. If we weren’t leaving the following day I would have gone again. If you are thinking about it just do it. You won’t be sorry. Thanks again everyone at Tasman for a fantastic memorable day. Such an an amazing experience.
We went on an amazing half day whale watch tour this morning. Tasman Venture left on time and soon enough we were watching whales spy hop breach and continuously approach and surround the boat. The boat is ideal for those wanting to get great photos from a high deck or one closer to sea level. A small morning tea and afternoon snack were supplied to finish off an amazing morning. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hervey Bay.

A fantastic experience, the guides were knowledgeable and presented very well. All the staff were helpful and polite. The whales were so close and the whole experience was respectful to the wellbeing of the whales and not evasive or threatening in any way. I’m a retired Wildlife Officer - Well done to all involved.

Saw lots of whales which was great - the sea was rough but the crew were helpful with warnings about waves etc.

Great trip, saw lots of whales, had 6 around the boat at one stage, and learnt a lot about them as well, would recommend going.

It was amazing! Whales were so close they could have reached out a flipper and touch me... And a pod of dolphins in the same field of view as a breach?! If you've got sorcerers on staff I think they might be due a raise.

Great experience and knowledgeable staff, made a lot of effort to provide us with good sightings. The boat was a little crowded. The staff need to update the directions to the marina and explanation of parking.
