Seguimos para Lower Wenslydale, com o seu guia turístico contando sobre a história e as características da área. Partimos de Grassington e seguimos para as belas Cataratas de Linton. É apenas uma curta distância de carro, então, se preferir, você tem a opção de fazer uma curta caminhada do estacionamento do Centro de Visitantes pelo antigo caminho de pedra até as cataratas de Linton e encontrar seu guia na ponte sobre o rio Wharfe .
A parada principal da tarde é na Abadia de Bolton, onde a entrada é gratuita e você poderá explorar a Igreja do Priorado e as ruínas do Priorado Agostiniano do século XII, em seu belo cenário ribeirinho, ou talvez enfrentar o desafio de trampolins se estiver se sentindo mais aventureiro !

The scenery of the Dales was spectacular! The trip to Grassington was lovely as I’m an avid fan of All Creatures Great and Small. Our driver Chris was knowledgable, friendly and quite the historian. He also was kind and accommodating, I highly recommend this tour! It would be a great idea to add Helen’s farm into the tour.

We did the Yorkshire Dales trip in June. The landscape was stunning, our driver, Chris, was friendly and knowledgeable, the bus was comfortable, and every stop was well planned. We did a similar Cotswold tour a few years ago, and we liked this even better.
