Herculano de meio dia saindo de Sorrento

Great guide on site. If you can ask for Nunzia as a guide once you are in Ercolano (they will split into mini groups because there can be only 25 visitors per local guide at the site).

Herculaneum is amazing and a must to visit and by itself rates 5 stars. Our guide was inadequate and the reason for the three star rating. Her command of English was impaired by such a strong accent that we could only decipher the occasional word. My friend thought she was speaking Italian most of the time. She walked ahead of the group with a flag of sorts but did not extend it so we could see it. She would commence commentary before some of the group had caught up to her, so when they did they could not understand which object was under discussion assuming they could have understood what was said.

Our guide, Roberta was delightful! She really made our experience an interesting excursion. Friendly, courteous, and very humorous. We met some very nice travelers with our group. A half day is plenty with all of the crowds at this historic site. Bus parking area is very chaotic, but we managed to find our designated area with all of the other confused passengers! Definitely recommend going in the morning due to the heat, and visitors!

Great day out! Phabianna was excellent! So very informative about Herculaneum, Would advised to go with this company hotel pick up aswell.

Tour guide hard to hear/understand, she talked broken English very fast. She never asked if anyone had questions. Only way to ask was to interrupt her. Frustrating tour.

An excellent guided tour of Herculaneum. The guide worked hard to make everything tick. Whilst hotel pick up is available, the pick up point is only 2 minutes from the centre of Sorrento. I would recommend making your own way if your hotel is close to the pick up point

We really enjoyed this tour mainly because our guide. Eugene, was informative, interesting and seemed to have a real passion for the story of the city. Our group of 35 was split in to two groups which made it easier to follow Eugene, but we also had ear pieces so you could easily hear what was being said. We came to Herculaneum rather than Pompeii as were told that it is smaller so could be seen in a 2 hour tour, and we felt we saw plenty to give us a real feel of Roman life here. Would recommend this tour to anyone

Fabiana was an excellent guide and was very passionate about the Sorrento area and Herculaneum. The bus held around 30 people, had great air-con and a very experienced driver who we felt safe with on the twisty roads. The amount of time at Herculaneum was perfect and the on-ear audio guides were very clear. We all really enjoyed ourselves but were glad we booked the 8am start as it got very hot as we were leaving around noon. We would certainly recommend this half day trip.

Desirée was a great tour guide and the tour began the moment we got on the bus with all the interesting facts of the area. She then showed us the city of Herculaneum and was very entertaining as well as knowledgeable. It was good going in a smaller group as it felt more intimate. The bus stop in Sorrento was easy to find and the driver was expert in handling the windy road.

One of the best trips we have ever been on. Tony was an excellent guide with lots of good knowledge and had a good rapport with everyone on the trip. Herculaneum was incredible.
