Heraklion E-Bike Food Tour – Descubra os sabores de Creta

Alex was absolutely amazing! He took us all over the town and stopped wherever we wanted to stop to take pictures, have a cup of coffee, etc. Alex is very friendly and knowledgeable about everything we toured. He was also so accommodating and always very responsive. Anytime we reached out to him with any questions we had. We ended the beautiful day with some wonderful wine and did not want to leave. We highly recommend taking this excursion with Alex. You will not be disappointed!

The best way of seeing the city for a short period and making it fun. Our guide Yanis was so patient with my sister and I, as I was kinda hesitant in riding the e-bike. He guided and helped us all the way, we learned a lot about the Greek culture and history. I definitely recommend this tour most especially if you want to taste the flavors of Crete… just be prepared to eat a whole lot of delicious Greek cuisine. Thanks so much Yanis for accommodating us!

We had good fun with Alex and the e-bikes! We had some good food -a lot so go to the tour hungry!! We were able to see some of the old town, but didn’t get a lot of history or commentary -so don’t plan on this tour to cover that. It was more for the food tasting. But worth it

Es hat sich weniger wie eine klassische Tour angefühlt und mehr wie ein Tag mit Freunden, die einem ihre Lieblingsorte auf Kreta zeigen. Die Kombination aus Bike Tour, lokalen Spots und Wine Tasting war einfach perfekt. Alles war super organisiert, die Bikes top und die Stimmung die ganze Zeit total locker und angenehm. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Leidenschaft und Herzblut die beiden in dieses Erlebnis stecken. Definitiv eines meiner Highlights auf Kreta und eine Erfahrung, die ich jederzeit wieder machen würde. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die etwas Authentisches suchen. Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man in Heraklion ist! I normally don’t write reviews — but this tour definitely deserves one. Alex and Marina have such a warm and relaxed vibe that you feel comfortable from the very first moment. It felt less like a typical tour and more like spending the day with friends who are showing you their favorite spots in Crete. The combination of the bike tour, local spots, and wine tasting was simply perfect. Everything was super well organized, the bikes were great, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable the whole time. You can immediately tell how much passion and heart they put into creating this experience. Definitely one of my highlights in Crete and an experience I would do again anytime. Absolute recommendation for anyone looking for something authentic. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Heraklion!

What an amazing day we had with Alex- the bikes were awesome, not too bulky, but packed with power. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed and in good hands. The tour did not disappoint. Saw so many hidden gems along the way, most we would’ve never seen on foot or without our knowledgeable guide. The food was also amazing, across a few different places, we were introduced to some fabulous local cuisine, and local wines too! And Cretan water! 😉. So much fun, dont skip this!

I highly recommend this experience — it was absolutely amazing. Recently, my husband and I visited the city of Heraklion in Crete. We’ve been living in Germany for many years; I’m Greek and my husband is German. Some friends of mine from Athens told us about EcoBike Greece, so I decided to book a tour with them. The idea behind it is fantastic. It’s not just a simple tour around the city or nearby villages — it’s a complete experience. You get the chance to connect with people, discover local flavors, and taste wonderful wines. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and I would love to do it again. Congratulations to the EcoBike Greece team. Besides offering such a great experience, they are wonderful people — very kind, passionate about what they do, and they genuinely love their work. They immediately make you feel comfortable and welcome, almost like being at home. Alex, thank you so much for everything. Everything was fantastic. Kai and I are truly grateful.

We did the tour in Heraklion and were absolutely thrilled! 😊 The tour was perfectly organized and a wonderful way to get to know Cretan culture and cuisine. Our guide was very friendly, competent and led us through the old town with a lot of passion. We tried several local specialties – all fresh, authentic and incredibly delicious. It was especially nice that we visited places that you probably wouldn't discover as a normal tourist.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing day biking with our guide, Matthieu! Since it was just the two of us on the tour, it felt more personal like spending the day with a good friend. The weather was beautiful, and although Heraklion was a bit busier than usual because of the holiday, it was still easy to navigate and enjoy the sights. The food throughout the day was absolutely delicious. Just be sure to come hungry! (We made the mistake of having a small breakfast before the tour) It was an easygoing and memorable experience that we’d happily recommend to our family and friends.
