Anna was FANTASTIC..food sampling was on target for Helsinki and fulfilling.. would take same tour again if in Helsinki for another week.. VERY VERY GRATEFULL!!!
A really great experience. The food was delicious and Anna was an excellent tour guide. Not only did we get a lot of nice food and drink options but we visited some sites along the way and learned about the history of Finland. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Very little history, food okay, returned to wrong hotel. I've been on numerous Viator tours Prague, Budapest, Amsterdam, Athens and London and this was the worst one.

We had a wonderful time on our food tour in Helsinki! Everything was very well arranged, with plenty of delicious food and great company throughout the experience. Our guide, Ellen, did a fantastic job. She was kind, welcoming, and very informative, and we really enjoyed learning more about Helsinki and Finnish food and culture along the way. It was a fun and memorable experience, and we would absolutely recommend this tour to others visiting Helsinki.

Jesse our tour guide had a a lot of useful facts about the history of Finnish food. We got to try all the Finnish classics and I enjoyed it because it was outside the touristy parts. Recommend :) Good activity to do to know a bit more about Helsinki.

We love food tours they are a great way to understand the local culture and try things you might not normally - we had a great local guide and were introduced to the delicacies that Finland is known for - Salmon soup, the long drink, reindeer and moose meats with a quirky visit at the end we would never have found as a tourist. The only points worth noting are that it starts a 30 min walk from the Market Square area at the Metro station which was fine for us but def off the beaten track for most travellers away from the centre and it finishes in the same spot - PLUS thinking the tour was 3.5 hours long we started at 1.30 and finsihed at 4 which is 2.5 hours in my book.

The overall experience was good. I’d recommend a group with max size of 8 due to seating limitations in the market. I also think for the price, there should be at least a full paper cup of beer, or better yet a full beer… 2 ounces is a bit small as they only fill it half way.

The tour was amazing with a lovely group of people and a good selection of local foods. If you have an aversion to certain foods (for me, fish), then there are other options. Lovely time! I do think it was a bit expensive for the experience compared to others I’ve had, but realistically it reflects what the costs would have been if I had gone to each place on my own.
