Incredible experience. My instructor made me feel very relaxed and I saw the most beautiful views in a peaceful flight down to the beach. One thing to note is that there are weight restrictions due to safety with hang gliding so my partner had to paraglide instead, which we found out the day before. I think all the sails should be the Brazilian flag or colours as it makes the photos and videos even better!

I really enjoyed the flight, it was approximately 5-6 minutes of flight. The guide was quite attentive and experienced. He explained some views to me during the flight. However I think I fell into the tourist trap, when I arrived in Rio I realised that the prices are far below what is offered in this publication. The experience includes a front video, but the other two videos are excessively expensive and the flexible zero auxiliaries in offering a lower price. For the prices of the cameras and the same flight I think it is a trap for tourists. At the end of the day the videos are deleted, why not offer them at a better price?

Beto was an amazing pilot - he spoke perfect English and gave very clear instructions that made me feel at ease. It was a once in a lifetime experience and also the hanglide sail was a Brazil flag which made the video so cool! They also give the option to pay for addition video angles which I didn’t pick but it’s good that they offer it.

By far the best way to experience an aerial view of the city. No other experience that involved elevation was near as clear and beautiful. The instructor did an excellent job explaining all 3 phases (takeoff, flight, and landing) of the experience. I do think the price is a bit steep for what it is, but I'm not sure what the cost of use for hanging glide is. Do be sure to pack light and it's best to wear shoes you don't mind getting sand in. I travelled alone, and would suggest if a younger person does the experience, that their guardian/parent just wait for them at the landing point, due to the amount of time (~15+ minutes) it took for others to be reconnected, after the flight.

Of all the various experiences, that put me far above the city/beaches/forest, this hang gliding opportunity really was surreal with the view of life in motion. In fact no other picture or angle you get from the other experiences (each great in their own right) will have you truly smiling thinking about how beautiful the city of Rio is. Also the instructors do a great job of explaining the plan, and getting you accustomed to what takeoff, flight, and landing. 10/10 would recommend if you are not afraid of heights
