Uma viagem de barco incrível para visitar as cavernas azuis Grotto. Era uma vez, ancorado ao longo da costa rugosa de Malta, havia um lugar místico conhecido como a Grotto Azul. We had a wonderful day with Louis. He was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We had great conversations about the history of Malta while taking in all of the sights. Highly recommend booking this tour if you love history.
Our driver was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about where we were going! However, this isn't really an experience more of a shuttle service. We stopped at a lot of locations that were on our list to see but this is basically just a transportation.
Mark was super...everything we saw was perfect. Blue grotto boat ride was very nice. I would have liked time to swim there. Take some time from the Mdina...that was maybe alittle too long in the sun. All in all - great day!
We were picked up at the harbor as agreed and greeted warmly. The tour went as described. We always had enough time for photos, etc. My highlight was the boat tour through the caves and Mdina. Afterward, we had the opportunity to explore the old town of Valletta on our own. After the tour, we received a few nice photos via email. All in all, a successful trip. The tour was varied. It was a beautiful day. We can definitely recommend Marlen Tours.
Both drivers Lewis and Mark were very personable and so knowledgeable about the history of Valletta and Malta. Loved the views and architecture in the cities.
The positives for this tour are: guide was on-time, the initial communication was good and the transportation was very nice. Unfortunately, no boat ride was available at the blue grotto-not the guide's fault. The problem with our tour is it was a 4 hour tour starting at 9 so we were supposed to be delivered back to the pickup spot by 1:00 & that did not happen. Guide said they were giving us a "gift" of extra time dropping us several miles from the cruise port for time on our own. We told him we did not want that gift & needed to be back at 1:00 as scheduled. He spent 30 minutes of everyone's time on the phone trying to find a way to get us back to port but did not. We finally just left & took a taxi at our expense. They clearly had scheduling issues that day & were not able to get us back until 1 1/2 hours after the promised time. When I complained, he insulted me for not wanting to spend more time. You can NOT run a business this way-especially for cruise customers.
This notice was sent to all passengers, including yourself, who were booked on the tour. Dear Tammy, Marlen Tours Malta extended your tour from 4 hours to 5 hours at no additional cost. The extra hour was added to help compensate for any delays that may occur due to increased summer traffic and seasonal operating conditions. If you did not agree with this change, you had the option to cancel your tour on the day the notice was sent without incurring any cancellation fees. While only a few stops, they were well chosen to see main sites on Malta that are not able to be seen on foot from harbor.
