I had an absolutely incredible experience of whale swimming in Moorea! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and the team was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the ocean and marine life. The highlight of the day was getting to see five magnificent humpback whales in their natural environment! 🐋🐋🐋🐋🐋 It was truly breathtaking to watch these beautiful giants surfacing, swimming, and moving gracefully through the crystal-clear Polynesian waters. We were lucky enough to capture so many amazing photos and videos to remember the experience. A huge thank you to the whole team for their expertise, enthusiasm, patience, and genuine love for the marine environment. I returned with incredible memories, countless photos and videos, and a very full heart. ❤️🌊 These are the kinds of experiences that stay with you for a lifetime. If you're visiting Moorea, we can wholeheartedly recommend going whale watching - it was easily one of the most unforgettable experiences of our trip!

A truly amazing experience — 5/5! The crew made a real effort to ensure that every participant had the opportunity to swim close to a humpback whale. They are true professionals with extensive knowledge of these magnificent animals and their behaviour. We felt safe and well looked after throughout the entire trip. Highly recommended!

I did four whale snorkel trips with four different operators in mid-August in Moorea. Tama Tours was one of them. I had an outstanding experience with Tama Tours. Coming across whales is mostly chance since nature is unpredictable, but the chance can be increased by good understanding of the movements. The quality of the encounter is highly dependent on how good the boat captain is at positioning the boat in the right spot and how good the in-water guide is at predicting where the whale is likely to be and at spotting it by looking at shadows, movement, and bubbles. Our captain, Nono, and guide Ra'ee were phenomenal. Thanks to them, we had an incredible experience. They are also very considerate of the needs of the guests. They book up well in advance, which is why I could only get one slot with them. Plan ahead!! PS: They don't offer pick-up.

Went out 8/1 AM to try to swim with the whales and found 2 right away! Our snorkel guide and boat captain were personable and funny and we able to get us on the tour last minute when Viator cancelled on us. They were very professional once we got in the water and made sure we were in safe positions compared to the whales the whole time. After our time with the whales we had 20 minutes to kill before our tour ended so we visited a snorkel spot that had tons of turtles and even a couple lemon sharks. Awesome experience!!

Unfortunately, it was a windy day so we weren’t able to swim with the whales, although we did see them out of the water. I only gave three stars because they were only supposed to take six of us and they allowed other people who came up at the last minute to join us so we had to take turns getting in the water as only 6 are allowed at a time. It was disappointing to sit and wait for the second group of 6 to finish their dive before we could get in. The crew did try diligently and stayed out longer than they should have to try and get close to the whales.

Wonderful experience. Very friendly and professional crew. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the whole cruise. Highly recommended service! We were very lucky to see a baby humpback from very close distance multiple times. Surpassed our expectations by far 😁

Whale tour with Tama, Noemie and the capi just amazing! Respect for nature and the whale remains a priority for Tama which makes the moment even more magical. The guides are super funny and pleasant with a lot of knowledge. If you want to have an unforgettable time, full of love, laughter and magic I recommend Tama thoroughly!

The most unforgettable and mystical experience of my life! At one point I became sandwiched between mom and baby and as baby swam by, her pectoral fin nearly brushed my cheek! Touched by magic❤️ Truly an amazing moment that I will never forget. Thank you, Tama Tours!!!!

We booked this tour on my birthday and it did not disappoint. The crew was awesome and knew right where to put us in the ocean, so that the humpback whales would pass right by us. We saw the father, mother and calf swim right past us. This was truly an unforgettable experience and one that I will never forget. I highly recommend this whale tour with Tama Tours.
