O Palm Jumeirah Monorail é um sistema de trânsito sem motorista de 5,5 km de altura que liga as principais atrações de Palm Jumeirah. Ele opera diariamente das 9h00 às 10h00, com trens rodando a cada 15 minutos . A rota inclui quatro estações: Palm Gateway, Al Ittihad Park, Nakheel Mall e Atlantis Aquaventure. Se você quiser montar o monorail, você pode fazê-lo durante sua visita e comprar bilhetes diretamente no balcão da estação, custando cerca de AED 15-20.

We booked the Dubai Half-Day City Tour expecting a professional sightseeing experience and an opportunity to learn more about Dubai’s culture, history, and landmarks. Unfortunately, the tour was overshadowed by a lengthy shopping stop at Marjan Art Gallery, which was presented as a cultural or museum-like attraction but appeared to function primarily as a sales showroom. A significant amount of time was spent there, and visitors were subjected to persistent sales pressure to purchase perfumes, saffron, artwork, dates, chocolate, and souvenirs. The driver appeared familiar with the shop staff and reassured us that the prices were reasonable. However, after comparing prices elsewhere in Dubai, we found that several products, particularly the perfume oils and saffron, were sold at prices far above comparable market prices. What disappointed us most was the lack of transparency. We booked a sightseeing tour, not a shopping tour. Had we known in advance that such a substantial part of the excursion would be dedicated to a sales presentation, we would have chosen a different tour. To be fair, after we raised our concerns and informed the company that we were considering reporting the matter to the police and consumer protection authorities, we received a partial refund of €70. While this gesture was appreciated, it did not fully address our concerns regarding the pricing and sales practices. Our recommendation to future visitors is to be very cautious during the shopping stop, compare prices elsewhere before making any purchases, and not feel pressured into buying anything. Dubai itself is a fantastic destination, but this tour experience left us disappointed and did not meet our expectations of a genuine cultural sightseeing tour.

The tour price and itinerary were provided in advance, and there was never any obligation to purchase any products during the tour. Regarding the visit to Marjan Art Gallery, this location is a regular part of our city tour itinerary. Our driver also informed you upon arrival that the gallery offers various products for sale, but any purchase decision was entirely at the discretion of the guest. Neither our driver nor our company forced or pressured you to buy any items. In fact, during the tour, you specifically asked our guide where you could purchase items such as saffron, perfumes, and other local products. Based on your request, our guide brought you to a location where such products were available. The pricing and sales policies of independent shops are determined solely by those businesses, and we have no control over the prices they charge. After the tour, you expressed concerns about the purchases and suggested that our company was receiving commission from the shop. We would like to clarify that such assumptions are incorrect. Nevertheless, despite the matter being outside our direct control, we made every effort to assist you. As a goodwill gesture, we first offered a complimentary airport transfer. We also proposed helping you return the purchased items to the gallery and facilitating communication with the shop. However, this solution was declined, and a refund of €200 was requested, which exceeded our ability to compensate for purchases made directly with a third-party business. Even though we were not responsible for the pricing of the products purchased, we still provided a refund of AED 300 as a gesture of goodwill and in the interest of customer satisfaction. We always strive to provide the best possible experience for our guests and regret that this situation affected your overall impression of the tour. We appreciate your visit to Dubai and sincerely wish you all the best in your future travels.

I had great experience with Zakir. It was good tour experience. It was very informative and I got to know places not part of big attractions and tour guide helped me take good pictures also.
