Logo após pegarmos, dirigiremos pela M5 e nos conectaremos à M4 pelas praias Muizenberg, St. James e Fish Hoek, localizadas ao longo da cênica costa de False Bay, a caminho da Colônia de Pinguins de Boulder Beach.
Passando pela praia de Muizenberg, veremos o trecho de atraentes cabanas de praia coloridas ao longe. As cabanas da praia se assemelham às "máquinas de banho" dos anos 1800 - uma estrutura em forma de carrinho que foi levada até a beira da água, permitindo que as mulheres usassem roupas de banho queixo-tornozelo e brincassem nas águas rasas. As cabanas de praia são posteriormente usadas como vestiários para banhistas e surfistas interessados.
Assim como seus colegas, as barracas de praia que podem ser vistas aqui em St. James Beach também são usadas pelos banhistas como vestiários. Seu guia irá parar aqui por alguns minutos para permitir algumas fotos divertidas com essas cabanas de praia coloridas antes de prosseguirmos para a colônia de pinguins de praia de Boulder.
Passamos por Kalk Bay Harbor, que é mais como uma vila de pescadores, com os barcos de pesca atracando e os comerciantes de peixes elogiando suas capturas. O peixe fresco está disponível para compra aqui diariamente. As vistas, os cheiros e o ar refrescante do mar são nada menos que espetaculares.
Passamos pela praia de Fish Hoek. É possível sentir as águas quentes do oceano Índico que fluem para a área de False Bay, tornando Fish Hoek uma praia preferida para nadar e tomar sol em longos trechos de areia branca e quente.
Paramos na praia de Boulder para visitar a colônia de pingüins africanos. A Praia de Boulder é uma das melhores praias da Cidade do Cabo, especialmente para nadar e tomar sol. É possível ter encontros próximos com os pinguins africanos enquanto nada e toma sol na praia de Boulder, mas isso não é garantido. Portanto, daremos um passeio ao longo do calçadão até o local oficial da colônia de pingüins para ver os pingüins em seu habitat natural. A colônia de pinguins de Boulder abriga aproximadamente 3000 pinguins africanos que passam seus dias brincando nas águas da Baía Falsa, tomando banho de sol e desfilando nas rochas de granito.
Após nosso encontro com os charmosos pinguins africanos, seguiremos para o que certamente é o destaque do dia: o Cabo da Boa Esperança e a Reserva Natural de Cape Point. Acredita-se que nenhuma visita à Cidade do Cabo esteja completa sem uma foto atrás do quadro de nomes do Cabo da Boa Esperança. Vamos explorar a reserva natural, enquanto o guia compartilha histórias históricas sobre os faróis Bartholomew Dias e Vasco Da Gama. O Cabo da Boa Esperança é o lar de muitas fauna e flora, como fynbos (arbusto fino), mais de 250 espécies de pássaros, incluindo avestruzes, fanfarrões, babuínos e a zebra da montanha do Cabo. Aconselhamos nossos hóspedes a serem vigilantes e a não se aproximarem demais dos animais selvagens da reserva, pois podem se tornar violentos. Não é permitido contato próximo ou alimentação.
Depois de explorar o Cabo da Boa Esperança, seguiremos para Cape Point, onde os visitantes podem fazer uma curta caminhada até o farol de Cape Point ou optar pelo Flying Dutchman Funicular (custo adicional por conta própria). Muitos acreditam que Cape Point é o ponto de encontro dos Dois Oceanos. No entanto, Cape Point é de facto o ponto de encontro oficial das Duas Correntes Oceânicas: as correntes oceânicas de Benguela Fria e Agulhas Quentes. O farol de Cape Point é o mais poderoso da costa sul-africana.
Desde que esteja operacional, faremos um passeio pela Chapmans Peak Drive, que é uma das rotas mais pitorescas do mundo. Pararemos alguns minutos no miradouro para tirar algumas fotos.
Ao chegarmos de volta à Cidade do Cabo, os visitantes serão deixados no mesmo ponto de coleta onde foram recolhidos pela manhã.

This was a great day trip. We saw penguins, Cape of Good Hope, took a quick hike, baboons and ostriches. The drive was beautiful. Our guide Ray was great too!
