Excellent from start to finish. Our guides were great and you get to experience the Dominican Republic in a whole different way. The sugar cane fields are great. Be prepared to get dirty!
Destination and staff was great but the buggies kept breaking down so we spent a lot of the time pulled over on the side of trails assisting different buggies that would break down. On the first buggy I drove the accelerator pedal would stay stuck on full throttle position so I would have to put my foot behind the pedal to pull it up out of full throttle. Also, once we would stop the engines the staff would run from buggy to buggy with one common battery to turn on the buggies. In summary, the equipment needs better maintenance or replacement.
They treated us spectacularly, throughout the route, they make you feel like old friends going out for a walk, upon arriving at the river they treated us very well, I would repeat it, we loved the experience.
This was a great experience! The guide was fluent in multiple languages. You will get dirty! Bring a bandana and sunglasses to keep dirt out of your eyes and mouth. They do sell these if you forget. Bring a wet bag to keep your things dry. Once again you will get dirty and wet! The sugar cane demonstrations were so neat. The snacks were delicious! We were able to utilize their $30 pickup and drop off and had 40 minutes to spare when we got back to our cruise ship. Make sure to let the head guide know and he will make sure you meet that time. I would recommend this for those that love adventure!
Lots of fun, mud, local villages... Rusty cars, but beautiful caring people! Thank for been flexible for us! The biggest bummer was a river - lots of mud after rains and so no swimming this time. But this is mother nature!
This was a wonderfully fun morning. Our kids (5 & 10) loved it as much as we did. The buggy driving was fab, trying the sugar cane was lovely, swimming in the river - epic; and the post swim snacks were delicious. The prices of the photo package ($40) was a bit steep - but the photos will create many giggles when we get home.
Honestly such a good morning... Anderson and his team were fab, the buggy tour was so much fun, yes you get absolutely drown in muddy water, its great. just fun fun fun. Wear old clothes, water shoes ideal too. Went with 11yr old and 14yrs old they had the best day as so did we. Highly recommend to everyone. Take cash incase you like to buy some bits, bit absolutely no pressure... thank you....
Friendly time in buggy, in small local villages, sugarcane plantations and jungle. The whole team is very friendly and playful. Tasting of various local products all very good! Don't be afraid to get dirty.
WE HAD THE BEST TIME! 100% would go again. You get really dirty, but that’s the fun! Crew was wonderful.
Such a great experience!! They were so friendly and hospitable, and the snacks were amazing, especially the yuca. Would go again, so so fun!
