Hagia Sofia, Cistern and Grand Bazaar

Murat Demir was an excellent guide. His historical knowledge and attention to detail was first rate. We enjoyed his company and he brought the sites alive for us. I would certainly recommend him to future visitors to Istanbul.

Guided tour

Well worth the time. Guide very knowledgeable. Some difficult walking uphill and many steps. I do not recommend this tour for people with mobility issues.

It's a mess in the big mess

The Grand Bazaar is one of the oldest markets in the world since it dates from the 15th century. Several times destroyed, there is nevertheless an interesting place to visit for a walk in the shade away from the heat of the old town
