Dionisis, nascido e criado em Salónica, tem um profundo conhecimento e amor pela cozinha grega. Com experiência na culinária há mais de 30 anos, hoje é dono de dois dos mais elegantes e diferenciados restaurantes da cidade, com pratos incríveis e deliciosos. Ele e sua esposa Eleni, personalidades calorosas e cosmopolitas, moram em uma casa aconchegante perto do centro, com excelente vista, onde gostam de receber velhos e novos amigos para refeições e diversão.

We found this to be an alright, although disorganized experience. The hosts were very nice but the experience was way overpriced for what we received. From the description we understood that it would be more of a cooking class where we would learn how to prepare some of the Greek traditional dishes. Besides chopping a few vegetables we didn't do any cooking which basically meant our dinner was about $150CAD (100 euros) each when we could have received the same food, if not actually slightly better food, from the restaurant down the street for less than half the price.

Our hosts were lovely...warm and welcoming. However, the evening was less than expected. The cooking lesson consisted of allowing us to chop vegetables for the salad. And $107 pp is steep for 2 gyros with some veggies and fruit

My evening at Dionissis and Eleni's Home was an absolute delight! The Homemade Gyro and Souvlaki Night, powered by IT IS GREEK, was an authentic Greek culinary experience like no other. From the warm hospitality to the mouthwatering flavors, every detail was impeccable. I left feeling nourished, satisfied, and eager to return for more delicious Greek fare. Highly recommend!
