Guilin rice noodles, beer fish, and those street snacks, each one hit my taste buds precisely, making me eager to go to Guilin right away! I asked them to organize a tour with some friends for a day and a half: cruise on the yulong, water cave, bridge, walk on the li river and the following day to the rice fields with accompaniment to the train. Prompt hotel pickup, clean car, nice knowledgeable driver with good English. Charles worked with us beforehand to add on Longsheng hot spring in addition to Longji rice fields, we were not rushed and had plenty of time to both hike from Jinzhu to a great view point in Pingan overlooking Seven Stars Accompany The Moon, and to relax for several hours at the hot springs before returning to Guilin. Communication before hand was excellent as well.
