Conjunto de jardins históricos de diversas épocas e seus edifícios palacianos, alguns da época Nasrida.
São as residências que os diferentes sultões do período Nasrida utilizaram para si e para a sua corte. Existem três áreas principais, independentes mas interligadas: Mexuar, Palacio de Comares e Palacio de los Leones.
O local mais antigo e, portanto, o primeiro a ser construído. Este recinto, além de proteger o sultão, continha toda uma cidade em miniatura para abrigar o serviço real e a guarda do sultão.
O mais belo palácio renascentista espanhol foi construído no meio da Alhambra como símbolo da vitória do império que derrotou o último reino muçulmano da Península Ibérica.
Não devemos deixar de visitar o Palácio del Partal, que lhe dá o nome, e contemplar a lagoa adjacente e a Torre de las Damas, únicos vestígios que dele se conservam.

The tour is well worth the time and money. If you get a chance pick Emilo as your guide (English tour). He is not only VERY knowledgeable but paces the tour for all, which important in summer heat.
Worthwhile tour to learn history of the Alhambra. Note the meeting point is in the parking lot, at the bottom of a flight of stairs.
Marta was a great guide and we enjoyed the slow paced friendly walk. We were a small group so plenty of time to chat and take pictures. It was hot but we took breaks and didnt feel rushed at all despite the crowds.

Lots of walking. Almost 5kms. Bring lots of water. Guide was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent, knowledgeable guide, amiable, attentive to needs, open to questions, very pleasant experience. However, we bought tickets in Canada, were charged in American dollars but were not informed of this fact. Annoying, costly and underhanded. Will not use your service again.
