My husband and I enjoyed this wine tour while visiting portland. Josh was a great driver and guide. I appreciated that the tasting fees were included in this tour. The lunch spot was on our own, but it was good and my husband and I split a sandwich that we ordered from a deli and enjoyed at the second winery.. It was nice to enjoy 3 different types of wineries. The wine was wonderful at all 3. We enjoyed the first two stops better becuase there was a bit more of a personalized experience. Overall, I recommend this wine tour when visiting portland
We had a great time on this wine tour! First and foremost, Shahn was fantastic—he was incredibly knowledgeable about Oregon’s history, geography, and topography, and we learned so much throughout the day. We especially loved the first and third wineries, even though they offered very different experiences. We were also paired with another group of three, and that made the day even more fun. The only downsides were that the second winery felt a bit lackluster compared to the others, and I wish we had known the winery itinerary in advance so we knew where we’d be stopping. It also would have been helpful to know ahead of time when and where food would be available, as that wasn’t very clear going into the day. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d definitely recommend the tour!
Had a wonderful day with our guide Shawn. He was full of knowledge, very friendly, and helpful. There were a total of 6 on this group tour so it wasn’t too big of a group and luckily we all clicked well and was fun meeting other travelers! I can highly recommend this tour.
The variety of wineries was great. Our driver was very knowledgeable. We worked definitely recommend this tie.
Went to several great wineries. We especially enjoyed the Torii Mor winery. I definitely recommend this tour.
Shahn was engaging and very knowledgeable about Oregon geological history. He was especially knowledgeable about wine and the wine industry in the Willamette Valley. We really enjoyed the wines we tasted and the information given by the sommeliers. The wine was expensive, but we splurged and bought a few bottles.
Josh was a wonderful guide - extremely kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the Willamette Valley wine tour. Each of the three stops we made were equally as impressive. Great wine and service all around!
The company we went with was Sea to Summit and Shahn was our driver, he was very knowledgeable about the area and wine. We went to three wineries in the Valley and sampled local Pinot Noirs. Great experience!
We had a wonderful day on the small group Wilamette Valley Wine Tasting. Shawn was our driver and he contacted us where , when, and described the pickup arrangements. Our transport was a nice comfortable Mercedes sprinter van. The three wineries were such fun, and each provided a bonus. We visited Rex Hill. Tressori, and Eutopia. Each was lovely and unique. I always book small group tours to make the experience more personal. This tour did not disappoint , and Shawn was an amazing host. On our return to Portland, he recommended Gilda’s for dinner and even called the chef to alert him that we were coming. The chef also was gracious enough to make room for us. And find us a table. We made such great friends and had a memorable day. I highly recommend this tour.
We were a small group of 10: 4 friends in their 30s, a couple in their 30s, two solo folk in their 50s and a couple in their 60s with Shawn as the driver, guide, and all-knowing expert on many topics ( wine, the region, Oregon history, etc). It was a great day…we visited three vineyards of different sizes and were guided in the tastings by representatives at each. Shawn was helpful in laying out the day’s itinerary, facilitating the group buying lunch, providing boxes for us to take wine home ( he told us Alaska Airline has a “wine flies free“ program!) and then dropping us directly at the hotel with our box ( it was near the pickup place). He was great! We learned a lot about Oregon wineries, the soil, the history and of course developed a more refined palate! Highly recommend the tour.
