Robin our tour guide was great, gave lots of good history knowledge and very friendly.
BE AWARE!!!! Goldentours deletes any negative reviews or complaints on Google and social media. I saw a guy who works on the street selling tickets assaulting a woman, most people were scared I guess to stop the guy. When I mentioned what I witnessed on social media, they deleted my comment. They just keep positive reviews on their page.

We really enjoyed Mark’s commentary on our tour and liked the fact there was a real guide rather than a pre-recorded audio guide. We enjoyed his jokes! It’s just a pity the last times aren’t clearer on the documentation when booking as we didn’t really make full use of our day ticket. We tried to get the app but it was too late - maybe make that clearer that you should have the app for updated timings.

It was peak August time and the buses were very prompt and were comfortable River cruise was great and enjoyed whole thing.

Robin was an excellent tour guide! He was very knowledgeable with history of everything and also had fun facts too, like pointing out an old tree that was part sycamore and part maple. I especially appreciated his finding shade to keep his group comfortable, pointing out the postcard picture opportunities, and getting the best spots to view the band and guards as they went by. It was truly a lovely experience. Thank you Robin!!

Great for getting around IF you know where to stand for a pickup. Some busses have a live guide which helps. The audio earbuds gave information about what I was seeing but not “hey this is a stop to get on/off” so we missed a couple and had to walk back. The full day pass with the boat is the BEST - we enjoyed the boat more than the busses! Will book again with a 3-day or 2-day pass when we return for greater value, and plan to ride all three routes.
