It was fantastic, a trip of a lifetime! Great people, fascinating sights and beautiful scenery. Learning about culture and history. Great guides. Mouhad was so knowledgeable and fun.
A friend and I visited Morocco in April through Sahara Trek. We had such a wonderful time! Out driver and guide, Fouad, couldn't have been more helpful and informative! We also had several other guides for various areas who all also were very friendly and helpful. Our trip included a balloon ride and camel ride into the desert as well as some very interesting and beautiful cities and buildings. The mosaics, marble and carved plaster work was stunning and part of my reason for visiting Morocco, as well as the history of the region. There are some areas in which I wish I had been able to spend more time, but this tour gave a great overview. Guess that means I need another visit! I highly recommend Sahara Trek.
Fouad was fantastic driver/guide. Very kind and helpful. The riads were unbelivable. Each experience was fresh and new, leaving me to wonder what could possibly surpass the last experience. Excellent experience, excellent service.
We saw a lot of Morocco-country, city, desert. Our driver, the city guides, staff at the Riads were all so knowledgeable and attentive.
Friends recommended the company and from our initial enquiry in 2025 to being dropped at the airport to fly out of Morocco today after 9 full and amazing days, the service and support has been outstanding. Our driver Said was a huge part of why the trip worked so well: he was kind, knowledgeable, punctual, reliable and a great driver. His vehicle was set up with the passenger seats facing each other so there was always plenty of leg room, particularly appreciated on the looong stretches of driving on some days. He'd stop by the roadside on occasion for photo ops, shared info with us as we drove, and always ensured we had been met by the accommodation people before leaving us at the end of the day. The overnight stays were amazing! The riads were a completely new experience and having the occasional evening meal included was terrific. The guides arranged for us at various locations were all professional and knowledgeable and enhanced our understanding of the culture and history of this amazing country. I would not hesitate to recommend Sahara Trek and am thankful that Said, our friend, was our driver.
A fantastic tour and well organised with great Riads (Riad Marjana in Fes could be better), plenty of stops and great guides. Our tour guide Said was first rate and became our friend. Always punctual and organised and a great driver on roads that require skills and attention. His smile and friendly manner are a delight and he is very proud of his family. So when he advised that his 106yo father had died peacefully, it was a very sad and touching moment for us all. I cannot speak highly enough of Said and wish him the best in life🤝
My husband and I travelled with friends on this wonderful tour. We could not have been more pleased with the holiday, saw fabulous sights, had unforgettable experiences, and felt well looked after. Our accommodation was excellent, staying mostly in beautiful riads. The places we stopped were interesting, the towns we stayed were simply amazing. Our driver Said was friendly, warm personality, professional, very obliging with our requests. We would definately highly recommend this company.
Oh my. Where to begin?!? My husband and I decided we wanted to go to Morocco. No clue how or where to begin. And then my husband found Sahara Trek. He started asking questions. Told them we booked the air…in and out of Marrakech No problem they said. We can accommodate. How long will you be here. We told them and they planned. The PERFECT trip! In and out of Morocco. We saw everything! Ouarzarzate. Ait benhadou. The Atlas Mountains. The forest. The Sahara desert. Chefchouen. Fes. Tanger. Rabat. Casablanca. Where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic Ocean. We had a private driver in our own vehicle. With WiFi. And air. And a smile with a bottle of water and a chocolate EVERY morning! Wonderful accommodations. Amazing people. I cannot say enough good things about this amazing opportunity!!!
It was a wonderful trip, one of our best! Our driver/guide/new friend Fouad is a skilled driver - we always felt comfortable when in transit. He is extremely knowladgable and gave us a great deal of information regarding the customs and culture of Morocco, as well as eliminating the stress of moving between riads. The Staff at the riads were so welcoming and helpful. As a retired high school art teacher, I enjoyed the architecture and mosaics as well as the lights and colors of the Medinas. As a photographer, I especially appreciated Fouad’s photo suggestions and willingness to stop for photo shoots. Kamal, Mohamed and Salem were also very helpful and accommodating
We used Sahara Trek to plan a family trip to Morocco in January 2026, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our itinerary included Marrakech, Rabat, Casablanca, and Fes, along with a special family purpose: delivering my nephew Ben and another student to Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane. Luiza at Sahara Trek handled every detail seamlessly — from beautiful riads and private tours to knowledgeable local guides and all transportation throughout the country. Traveling as a family can be complicated, but everything was organized perfectly. We felt well cared for at every step, and communication before and during the trip was excellent. We were always well informed about daily plans, travel times, and cultural insights that made the experience even richer. The riads selected for us were lovely, comfortable, and full of authentic Moroccan charm. Every guide and driver was professional, friendly, and clearly invested in making our trip memorable. Sahara Trek made our journey smooth, meaningful, and completely stress-free. We highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Morocco — especially families or travelers looking for a personalized and well-organized experience. Shout out to Luiza, Abdul (our driver), Mustafa, Mohamad, and our guide in Rabit , i believe his name is Hicham?)
