O complexo do Palácio Real foi estabelecido em 1782 e consiste não só de salões reais e do trono, mas também de vários escritórios do governo, bem como o famoso Templo do Buda Esmeralda. Cobre uma área de 218.000 metros quadrados e é cercada por quatro paredes, 1900 metros de comprimento. Depois que o rei Rama I ascendeu ao trono em 1782, o palácio foi construído. Antes disso, o palácio real e centro de administração estavam localizados em Thonburi, na margem oeste do rio Chao Phraya. Por várias razões, o novo rei considerou a antiga capital inadequada e decidiu estabelecer uma nova capital do outro lado do rio. Mr. Oak took us to the Royal Palace and Wat Phra Kaew. He did a great job and was very kind and helpful throughout the trip. Even though the weather was very hot and the places were crowded, he made everything easy and comfortable for us. He has a great service mind and took good care of all the tourists. Awesome experience. If you are interested in the history of this site, I would definitely recommend the guide option. If I didn't have the guide, I never would of learned anything about this historical site.

I hired a guide who unfortunately didn't speak very good English, I hardly understood the explanation of the place, although she was kind. And the temple was beautiful.

Very prompt collection, unfortunately the collection time wasn't communicated, which meant we weren't waiting in the reception. Vehicle cleanliness and space very good.
