We booked and paid a “Gothenburg Private Walking Tour with a Local" for 09 August 2026 with Humrahe over Viator. We received all customary email notifications; we answered and confirmed all those requesting an answer. The series of emails continued until just before the scheduled tour and even afterwards, demanding favorable feedbacks. On the tour's day we sent another confirmation message to the designated guide, that remained unanswered. At the meeting point on Kungsportsplatsen at 11am there was nobody. We called the guide, he seemed surprised and unaware of this assignment. We both tried to reach Humrahe at the phone number provided by Viator (confirmed on Humrahe's Facebook page) – we were said it is an incorrect number. We are extremely disappointed by this experience.

You will learn a lot of history and get to see quite a bit of the city center. Elizabeth is an excellent guide. She’s friendly and informative.

Avoid this operator at all costs. I booked and paid in full for the Gothenburg Private Walking Tour with a Local (operated by HUMRAHE LIMITED) — specifically a private tour, because we had only one day in Gothenburg. Before the tour, our guide Veronica Kecki messaged asking whether we'd be open to having other people join us. I said no, since we had a single day in the city and had paid for a private experience. She then told me she'd received requests for larger tours — and that she would therefore have to cancel mine. Let that sink in: she canceled a fully paid private booking so she could make more money off a bigger group. It's staggeringly unprofessional and completely unethical. No replacement was offered. Stay far away — unethical and not to be trusted.

Our Tour guide Kevin was outstanding. Well organized and made every minute of our 4 hour tour perfect. Kevin was a well educated person. He explained the history of Gothenburg. So very interesting. We enjoyed the city and appreciate Kevin’s knowledge.
