Although we were not able to surf due to there being no waves that day, our instructor was super upfront and apologetic and offered us alternatives to make sure we had a good experience! very communicative and honest! We will be using this instructor next time
It was a great experience. My son and I created a core memory that neither one of us will soon forget.
We had such a wonderful experience learning to surf with Jace. I was joined by my kids (7 & 12) and it was a blast! Jace was awesome with them and they both were able to ride waves throughout the lessons. Never once did I feel uncomfortable as Jace was tentative to their needs when it came to safety and catching good waves. We had a great time and I’d highly recommend booking here.

It was great. I booked a group lesson but it was just our family. The instructor was nice and on time. With his help, we all were able to catch a wave and stand. He provided rash guards, water shoes and sunscreen if needed. He even had a fresh water shower in the back of his truck to rinse off after surfing. Highly recommend.

Terrible service. I think his name was Jace- hard to know since he didn’t take us out. He walked by, asked if I was good, and I said yes to such a vague question. He didn’t ask if we were there for a lesson and he disappeared. We asked several other instructors who were in the put-in if they were looking for us. We were there 20 mins before our appointed meeting time, and at 20 minutes after the time another instructor took pity on us and offered to rent us some boards. So we went out with Jay from Local Boys and he was amazing. I asked for a refund from Jace and he told me I chose to leave with another instructor then sent me this text after we spoke on the phone: NO CALL NO SHOW NO REFUND. ALOHA 🤙🏼🤙🏼. I would avoid this poorly communicative and unprincipaled business- Jace doesn’t care about your experience.
Mahalo for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're genuinely sorry this was your experience, as it's certainly not the standard we strive for. From our records, our instructor arrived before the scheduled lesson, remained at the designated meeting location, and made multiple phone calls and text message attempts when we couldn't locate your group. Unfortunately, we never received a response. After waiting 30 minutes beyond the scheduled meeting time, we understood this to be a no~show. We often reschedule or return payment for many scenarios as long as we are contacted within a reasonable time. We understand there appears to have been a misunderstanding at the beach regarding identifying one another. While our instructor did ask someone nearby if they were all set, it's clear there was confusion, and for that we sincerely regret the missed connection. We also understand that you ultimately chose to take a lesson with another surf school. Once another operator has provided the service in place of a scheduled lesson with us, we're unfortunately unable to issue a refund for the reserved time that had already been held for your booking. We continuously review situations like this to improve our check~in process, including making introductions even more explicit so future guests can easily identify our instructors. We wish you and your family many more great days in the water, and we're glad you were still able to enjoy your time surfing.

I had an incredible experience with this surf school! Jace was patient, encouraging, and explained everything in a way that made learning easy and fun. By the end of the lesson, I was standing up and riding waves! If you're thinking about taking a surf lesson, this is the place to go. Whether you're a complete beginner or just looking to improve, you'll have an amazing time. This ended up being one of the highlights of my trip, and I can't recommend it enough.

We had an amazing time! Very friendly and accommodating. Explained so much about surfing and made us feel comfortable to go out there and do it ourselves. Highly recommended for first timers they are super experienced and made our first experience memorable.
