Viajaremos para Glencoe e a "Estrada para as Ilhas", de Fort William a Glenfinnan. Assista ao trem a vapor Jacobite enquanto ele cruza o Viaduto Glenfinnan (abr-out), um ícone escocês famoso por sua engenharia vitoriana clássica. Também é conhecida como a "ponte Harry Potter" que leva o menino bruxo para Hogwarts

Luss está nas margens bonnie de Loch Lomond. Não só vamos parar aqui para refrescos da manhã, mas para desfrutar de algumas vistas maravilhosas do Loch Lomond. Ben Lomond, o Munro mais ao sul da Escócia, (montanhas acima de 3000 pés de altura) também pode ser visto a partir daqui.
Glencoe foi o cenário de um dos períodos mais infames da história escocesa, o massacre de Glencoe, ocorrido em 1692. O belo cenário é imperdível para os visitantes. Paramos no Glencoe Visitor Centre para ter tempo de aprender mais sobre a história do vale. O centro também abriga a casa de turfa, onde você poderá ver como deve ter sido a vida da comunidade de 500 a 600 pessoas que vivia aqui no século XVII em Glencoe. Viajamos pelo vale duas vezes (manhã e noite) e paramos para tirar fotos e apreciar a paisagem enquanto estamos lá.

Temos bastante tempo para visitar Glenfinnan como as vistas aqui são simplesmente espetaculares. Você verá os 21 arcos do majestoso Viaduto Glenfinnan curva através do glen em uma cena imortalizada como a rota para Hogwarts de Harry Potter (de abril a 2 de outubro, pretendemos chegar ao viaduto em tempo para ver o trem de vapor Jacobite atravessar). O Monumento Glenfinnan fica na cabeça do Loch Shiel e foi erguido em 1815, para homenagear os jacobitas que lutaram e morreram na causa de Bonnie Prince Charlie. Também haverá tempo para pagar entrada para visitar o monumento, se desejar. (Por favor, note: O trem de vapor Jacobite não funcionará entre 1o e 5 de setembro de 2025.)
Depois de viajar de volta através de Glencoe & Rannoch moor, nossa última parada da noite será dentro do Loch Lomond e Trossachs National Park, onde você pode desfrutar de um refresco no início da noite antes de nosso retorno a Glasgow.

It was a wonderful experience. We saw some very beautiful landscape that we could not have accessed without a car. The trip was well organised and our guide Kieran was very kind and funny. He even made several stop on the way to help us get good views and pictures of Glencoe and Highland cows.

Our guide was excellent he was humorous and an excellent driver. Giving time for the Highland cows at the end of the tour was a big highlight!

Although we could not go to Glenfinnan because there was a serious accident 9 miles from the location, Alan, our guide, made the day wonderful anyway. He told us many things and took us to wonderful places. I spent a day that I will never forget. The places visited are wonderful, but Alan's company made them memorable. Thanks Alan!

Recommended tour whose highlights are Glencoe and Loch Shiel. Overall full of stunning views of the glens and lochs. Big Al, our driver/guide, was knowledgeable and entertaining, essential in making the experience enjoyable.
