Existem dois jardins distintos na propriedade de Claude Monet. O adorável Clos Normand tem centenas de tipos de flores em flor durante a primavera, verão e outono. Nenúfares!!! O jardim japonês na propriedade de Claude Monet é o mais famoso, pois tem uma ponte verde e um lago cheio de nenúfares. Seu guia o levará diretamente a ele e o ajudará a obter as melhores fotos de lembrança! Você verá os pontos precisos de onde Monet pintou e comparará as pinturas com o que você vê na vida real.
A Casa Colorida de Monet: Claude Monet viveu aqui por mais de 40 anos e criou 8 filhos. Dentro você verá sua oficina de artista, bem como a decoração pessoal e a pintura colorida que ele colocou em todos os cômodos. Grupos não são permitidos em casa, pois o espaço é muito limitado no interior. Assim, você terá tempo livre para explorar o interior por conta própria.
Visita ao túmulo: Visite o local de descanso final de Claude Monet e preste seus respeitos ao próprio grande homem. Seu túmulo está escondido no cemitério de uma pequena igreja rural. Seu guia o levará até ele e compartilhará muitas das histórias de vida de Monet que foram além de sua arte, mas ainda a afetaram.

Prior planning with advice to arrive at garden for 9 am opening. Tour guides and van were late at meet up location. Only got brief intro of Monet family tree and gravesite with the guide and then I was left to wander. Beautiful sunny morning in the garden made it worthwhile. I missed seeing inside his home due to the number of visitors. Exit through the gift shop was a confusing cluster and again waited 15-20 minutes for all the group and guide at time of departure. Exiting and end of tour instructions were not clear.

I was expecting a guided tour, so was disappointed when this was not delivered : he took us to the site and then met us at the end. He played an informative podcast on the to and fro journeys from Paris. He also had a guidebook of pictures which he showed us while waiting in-line for site to open.

We were in two separate mini bus, randomly assigned. The other tour guide talked on the trip, when I asked questions on my tour I was told he had to concentrate on driving. Our tour guide did not do a tour of the garden, other tour did. Our tour drove from cemetary to garden with no commentary, other tour had option of walking and having land marks pointed out. Our tour ended at least a hour earlier than the other tour. Yes I asked for more info, yes I querried why we weren't getting the full tour. Guide said that he wasn't allowed to do more. Guide was polite. But I paid for a guided small group tour and I should have just got the bus.

The gardens are extremely crowded, and it is not permitted for groups to stop there. For this reason, we believe the best option is to give the guide time at the beginning of the tour to provide all important information about Impressionism and Monet’s life, followed by free time for guests to explore on their own. Please also note that guides are not required to speak during the drive, as they must remain focused on highway safety. I took my daughter and two granddaughters (ages 16 and 17) to Paris. We loved the tour of Giverny and Monet's gardens. Great to see the gardens that inspired Monet, especially the water lilies. Our guide was fantastic. So very sorry I can't remember his name. Maybe you can find him. We were on the 2-7 pm tour on Thursday, June11, 2026. I loved hearing the history of Monet's life and seeing where he lived.
This was a really nice tour as a small group of seven. We were met promptly, introduced to our driver/guide, and arrived in an hour. Our guide had a nice guide of photos with him to show us some background on Monet and gave good advice on how to see the house and gardens. Arrived safely back in Paris right by Metro station to finish up the morning right on time. We had plenty of time to see the house, garden, and museum in Giverny. Would recommend although felt that the cost was a little pricey.

Driver was very knowledgable. Van was comfortable. Giverny was terrific!
This tour would have been fine, except for the extreme heat, and the tour company did not even send a cooler with water along with us, as most Tours we’ve experienced would do (even not in such extreme weather)! Most of us had a water bottle, but by the time we arrived at Giverny, the water was warm… and after walking around the extremely hot gardens, we desperately needed more. The only water available was sold in a machine in the gift shop for which there were long lines. (Each bottle cost two euros). One of the passengers (not an older person), had a severe reaction to the 100° F heat! But all of us were extremely uncomfortable. When I asked the tour guide/driver why the Tour company did not provide a cooler with cold water for the eight of us, he said they are a new company, that it was an inexpensive tour, and that this might be something that Americans do, but it is not customary for the French. So…the French do not appreciate record-breaking heat temps in summer? C’est un peu incroyable! To be fair, our Giverny tour guide/driver was surely hot, as well, and had already led an earlier tour there from Paris. He was fine as a guide, sharing information about Monet and the area. It occurs to me that the Tour company (Blue Fox?) likely didn’t offer him any cold water either!🥵 The tour operators are not identified in Viator, but I would ask about it and avoid doing any of this company’s tours again!

Gardens were beautiful and we had a very nice time exploring the gardens. Not much to see in the house. Tour was self directed which we knew and were ok with. If you are looking for a historical guided tour this is not the one for you.

Enjoyable visit to Giverny with Nicholas Good directions to the meet up where Nicholas was waiting to welcome us. He was very communicative throughout our time together. First stop at the cemetery before heading to the beautiful house & gardens. There was ample time to enjoy everything without rushing & the small group was ideal. Transport was comfortable & thankful for air conditioning on such a hot day. Merci Nicholas from the Canadians!
