This trip was fabulous bought to life by an amazing guide, Arthur. His knowledge and approach to the guided tour made this so special. It was like seeing the garden’s through Monet’s eyes. Perfect pacing of this half day tour with a luxury air conditioned coach. Much appreciated on a very hot day.

We booked this tour for a Tuesday morning and there were about 30 people on our tour. Tour was through Paris city vision via Get Your Guide. Found the meeting point easily. Sorry, but I don’t remember our guide’s name, but she was friendly and informative with a good sense of humour and excellent English. As we had pre-booked the ‘live guide’ option, we were given ‘whispers’ to allow us to hear the guide’s commentary. On the coach, there was only minimal commentary provided for everyone else, although the basic details were well communicated. However, we would recommend the ‘live guide’, as it was much more informative for only a small additional charge, and we felt a sense of FOMO from those who hadn’t booked the ‘live guide’ option. The journey took about 1.5 - 2 hours each way, mostly along the motorway. After arriving in Giverny, there was about 5-10 mins walk from the car park to the gardens. Once inside she guided us around the beautiful water gardens, then the other garden and showed us the house (self guided), toilets, gift shop etc (approx 20-30 mins). We then had another 30-40 mins to explore by ourselves. We found this to be sufficient time to see both gardens and the house etc without rushing. Although busy, we didn’t find it too crowded. No free time in Giverny, although it looked very small and not much to do. Please note the drop off point back in Paris is different to the pick up point. We found this tour a very easy and convenient way to visit these beautiful gardens and would thoroughly recommend.

The bus did not leave on time. 20 mins delayed waiting for a family. Why should we all wait for someone who is late. Very bad practice. Thus happens again and again. Very disappointed.

The return to the bus is complicated, and we got lost. If you arrive late, they leave!! There are a lot of people.

Viator's customer service is the worst! We had an issue the morning of our tour and needed to meet at the house/museum instead (providing our own transportation), and Viator would not accommodate the change OR refund our money. We offered an alternative and Viator would not play nice. The Viator customer service representative was very rude! I've used Viator in the past for many tours, but NEVER AGAIN!!

this was a wonderful experience. we loved learning and seeing Monet’s property. Arthur was a great guide and very knowledgeable. we were there during the heatwave and the bus could’ve had better AC but i know europe isn’t big on air con. overall loved it and would do it again!

Very beautiful but extremely crowded and be prepared to not be able to access and bathroom for awhile.

Good organiser Good Guide Would stay longer since the garden takes longer time to admire enjoy and even the souvenir shop takes time

I'm usually sceptical of guided tours but this one was terrific. Arthur was a generous and knowledgeable guide - his passion for Monet's art and the gardens was so evident, and he had a great sense of humour and also terrific recommendations on where to visit or eat in Paris. The whole trip ran like clockwork - definitely doing this tour is the way to go. I can't imagine the hassle of trying t to do it myself. Highly recommend.

If you are visiting Paris, this is a must take tour. It was well organized and the guide Arthur was wonderful. The tour was like walking into a Monet painting.
