Best tour, was very attentive and helpful to my wife and young infant even helping us with the stroller into locations and was great for conversation and recommendations, places she recommended I now go regularly when I visit.
Excellent, our guide Silver presented a thorough review of many restaurants and the places we are were fantastic. I highly recommend this tour as it has me motivated to return to Gettysburg just for the food.
The food was amazing! You get actually portions not just a small piece of something! The walking part was not strenuous! It was a lot of fun! Great history and stories! Silver (tour guide) was so kind and accommodating! She made sure that my dad had a great birthday!
Silver was our tour guide and very informative about the history of the area and had a lot of recommendations of places to eat or visit after the tour. All of the food was very good and you won’t leave the food tour hungry!
Thank you for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the combination of delicious food and fascinating local history. It’s great to know Silver’s knowledge and recommendations added even more value to the tour. And we’re especially glad the food left you happy and full! This was a super fun time! Our guide, silver, was super funny and easy to talk to. She was very knowledgeable. The food was absolutely amazing as well?
Hello Krista, thank you for your eerie-some review! We’re so glad you had such a fun time on the tour. And we're especially happy the food was a hit—great stories and great bites are a pretty perfect combination!
Very attentive outgoing and friendly guide that included my infant last minute and even helped to bring the stroller around. Definitely made us want to return to new restaurants as we live in PA.

I learned a lot that I didn't know, not just about Civil-War-time Gettysburg, but its food history as well.
Hello Trevor, thank you for your eerily wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed discovering Gettysburg through both its history and its food. It’s always rewarding to hear guests come away with new insights, not only about the Civil War era but also the unique culinary stories that help shape the town’s character. We're glad you enjoyed sampling the local flavors along the way!
We had a good time. Loved all the different places we went. We had been to Gettysburg many times but never ate at any of the establishments we visited on the tour. Our host, Silver, was very knowledgeable about the food, restaurants, and history of the area. It was as if we got a history tour as well as food tour. We can’t wait to be able to visit again and try some of the places we visited in the tour.
Hello Michelle, thank you for sharing your experience! We love hearing that even after many visits to Gettysburg, the tour introduced you to new local spots to enjoy. Silver will be so happy to know you appreciated the mix of food, restaurant insights, and local history throughout the experience. It’s wonderful that the tour gave you both a food and history adventure. We look forward to welcoming you back next time you visit Gettysburg!
Great food tour in historic Gettysburg. We really enjoyed all the food on the tour and our guide Silver was a great tour guide. Overall we enjoyed the tour.
Hello Robert, thank you for the spook-tacular review! We’re so glad you enjoyed exploring historic Gettysburg through the food tour. It’s great to hear you loved the food stops and had a wonderful experience with Silver as your guide. We truly appreciate you joining us and hope to see you again on another tour soon!
While the guide for our Gettysburg Food tour was nice (Brian I believe), the tour was pretty lame. Only 4 food places were on the tour; one was not open (which should have been known by the company) and the offerings at each place was very weak. Offering a $14 meal for the 2 of us to split (2 different places) and one piece of candy that cost around $2 was lame. I will admit that we offered to split the $14 meals (although I felt like that might be policy anyway) but the candy stop was pitiful. My other frustration was with your essentially non existent cancellation policy. It seems a no refund policy for a 2 hour tour (ours was less than that) which is 6 days away is ridiculous. My husband has back issues which flared up greatly and it is impossible for him to walk for long distances. Instead of the possibility of holding the group up, while he took a break to sit down on his walker, I thought it best to cancel, But since cancelling wasn't really an option, we decided to give it a go. Good thing we were the only ones on the tour so we could go at his pace. It turned out he did great, but we had no way of knowing how it would go. On a positive note, the food we did have was excellent and I would go to those restaurants if I was ever back in Gettysburg. I won't be able to recommend your company for any of its tours.
Hello Sunny, we're sorry to hear about this experience. We definitely understand the frustration with the lack of stops, and our managers are investigating this further. We know a member of our team has been in touch with you via email, and we are taking this feedback seriously. Please reach out to us if you need anything else on our end. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
